    Shit! Someone help me...I downloaded a Trojan virus!

    off of kazaa...after it was done downloading nortons came up and said it could not repair the file...WTF, is it serious?

    Did you keep it quarantined? If so, just use Norton to delete it. All of this assuming you didnt run the program after your anti-virus caught it.

    you can try to find and just delete the program.
    If your virus program is good it wont let you open it, so just use find files and delete the trojan.

    It happens from time to time and thats how to get rid of it.

    there is a program called "the cleaner" that will search your computer for trojans after you have delt with this problem.

    Best thing you can do is reboot your HD, only way to make sure itīs gone. Hope you have backup on all importent files bro.

    formatting is always an option but a trojan doesnt do what a normal virus does.

    its possible to recover from the typical trojan infection without wiping everything.

    i could not delete the file itself and norton's said something about not being able to repair the file...i will try the cleaner

    Is this virus making your computer freeze up when you run Kazaa? Mine has been freezing and having to be shut down and restarted when I use Kazaa.

    I heard that the trojan virus duplicates itself every time you open it or try to delete it. Isnt that a virus that reveals the ** address to the sender and gives them total control of your pc? I mean, i am not sure by anymeans but that would suck.
