Doc...Should I reconsider med school?? Part of Obamas plan is to reduce the cost of Medicaid/Medicare...This obviously means slashing reimbursements even further=less pay for doctors...Whats your take on this as someone in the profession already...

Well I heard that people from his campaign, would call and get people to register to vote and when they found out that they voted for mccain they would send in their papers late so they couldnt vote at all. Not sure if there is any truth to this, but a couple of my friends from college said it happen to them.

Don't move to Europe. Socialism is running rampant here...but for some reason people are happy. 19% sales tax and 19% federal tax but my kids will attend a university for next to nothing. Strict as hell laws...but people let their children walk to school alone at 5yo. Not many people own guns, due to strict gun policies, but here in Germany you rarely hear about people shooting other people. Universal, state-run healthcare...but if one of my sons break a bone, it won't break my bank account (the last time I checked the WHO said Germany was ahead of both the US and Canada in terms of healthcare.)

in my business, i dont even bother with medicare or medicade. they dont pay now! i am sure in the future they will even pay less.private insurance is already a joke, besides care/cade. it doesnt pay like it used too and it just keeps getting worse. truly i dont think the pay outs of private health care to Dr's can get worse than they already are. the networks suck. that is why i stick to personal injury cases and workers comp, or everyones favorite cash because a lot of people have no health insurance at all. you would be suprised how many have no health care.
