Ive seen other message boards, but never with as many members as us.

Elite fitness is bigger than us but they have been around 5 years longer. It is a big board but it has allot of off the topic stuff going on like porn and a sh!t load of flaming.

Put it this way, I was a moderator on elitefitness before I was asked to moderate here on anabolicreview.com. Guess what, I dropped elite like a hot cake. This sounds alittle lame, but I've made better gains and took a comlpetely different approach to my body building life style since coming over here.

I said it once and I'll say it again. By far the MOST mature board on the net.

You mean...there are "other" BB boards out there????
I don't find there's anything else out there worth my time. We have everything we need right here! It's supposed to be hard! If it was easy, everyone would do it! It's the "hard" that makes it great!

bodybuilding.com is an ego-fest. everyone is constantly arguing. there are at least 10 new creatine posts everyday. also, many of the people have no idea what they are talking about, but spout off information that some guy in the gym told them, like it is gospel.
the best thing about this board is that you dont have to worry about being flamed for everything.

great bunch of guys on there very helpful, and no flaming, similar to here but a more uk based place, the more info there is around the better imo.

Well for sure it is one of the best out there.
You'll find the most good members in the smaller forums but this board has great members even at a huge amount.

Well i remember when this board was a couple hundred members. The format was completely different. But despite the changes we have still maintained a "family" astmosphere! I love all you guys **group hug**

I posted over at bodybuilding.com and I had a bunch of skinny 125 pound kids trying to give me advice about bodybuilding. My calfs were larger than one of these kid's quads. I learned my lesson quickly. I won't stray from AR again.

I used to hang around around BB.com every now and then, then someone actually told me about this board, and i haven't been back. I remember when they had a whole big thread going about how Greg Kovacs was so great and they didn' t understand why he didn't make it.
Still makes me laugh. No matter what u'd say they'd be like well he has like 27" arms or something like that, they never made sense.
As far as AR goes, i've learned more here then from anywhere else or from any of my friends. And i can't stop coming here every day.
Every now and then one of my friends will say something like " Steroids are stupid, u're dumb if u take em". I used to agree but now i try to explain to them why they aren't neccessarily bad, but they still don't understand so i just shrug my head and nod along now. AR has completely changed my mind about juice.

I am also a member over at elite, but this is where I spend most of my time. I like this board, and made some pretty cool friends, and all of the mods, are very willing to help, and not jerks like some of the guys over at EF. Although most of the mods over there hate this board, I still think most of them are gear heads with an attitude, that they love to put people down over there. I just can't tolerate it, especially a younger punks, smarting off to me, when I can squash his azz if I saw him in person.
