boston public (aka what shows do yall hate?)...

before you read on, please note this is a thread of me flaming the show Boston Public. if you're cool with hearing my rantings and ravings about how i dislike something, please, by all means read on.

omg, i >hate< this show. its so freaking stupid. i have never seen so much stupid drama in all my life...not in middle school, high school, and life combined. for god sakes, its god damn high school, get the hell over it. NO school is that melodramatic about everything. every freaking day is some new damn issue that just sooooooooo important and emotional. the damn teachers at that school need hobbies so they don't blow >every< tiny event out of proportion.

anyways, so what shows do you guys hate and why?

I actually saw boston public today and thought it was fairly entertaining, although like u said there is definitely a lot of drama and the teachers always over react. As far as my most hated shows i got quite a few.

black comedies- u know em, moesha,parkers,etc

soap operas- u know why

wrestling- used to watch em, now just boring, same stuff over and over again, but the girls are still hot

seinfeld-i might be the only one, but i think a couple episodes were a lil funny, but the rest never even made me crack a smile

talk shows- ricki, dr. phil, and of course oprah
of course springer is still cool, never boring

baseball,racing,WNBA- extremely boring sports


The only things i actually ever watch fairly often are sportscenter, daily show, friends and hey throw in some porn for good measure, i know at least no one can disagree with me on the last one

Monday Night Football - I used to love it in the early 90's, but its complete crap now. I like Al Michaels but John Madden annoys the hell out of me.

Wrestling - Naked men in a soap opera. Nuff said.

Will and Grace - Maybe I have to be a woman or a gay man to understand this show. I don't hate it, but I don't really understand the jokes. Are the jokes meant to be really bad? I'm being serious, not cynical.

The Last Word - Jim Rome is such a kiss ass. He shouldn't even bother asking his guests questions because he gives us the answer in the process of asking the question. Here's an exagerated example: "Hello Emmitt Smith, I have to say that you're the greatest running back of all time. How did you break the rushing record...was it because you've been able to remain healthy and play behind a good offensive line?

The real world. Take what clock said about Boston Public and multiply it by ONE MILLION!!! An episode will be: "Like, ohmygod, Becky used my razor and I think that was completely unwarranted." And then another girl will say, "I think you should totally approach Becky and just be like, 'hey, I feel like you violated my personal space,' and then the two bitches will yap for hours about how freakin' stupid they are.

reality shows are stupid as hell.. put some dumb mofos on an Island of put them all in the same house and watch them vote each other off.. wow thats entertainment.. no wait its just plain horse shit!

You ever hear of that show called the Bachelour? Basically this guys chooses from a bunch of girls, goes on a bunch of dates and marries one of them. Anyways, i heard that when the show was auditioning for girls, 1/3 of them tested + for herpies, and weren't allowed to be on the show. That kinda scares me a bit.

I hate the Show FRIENDS!! I have avoided that show like the plague for years. I also hate any TV show that shows fugly people with their cloths off. It makes my eyes bleed.

I actually like the black comedies. The entire UPN Monday night line up is entertaining. Best television by far is Cartoon Network Adult Swim. Now that's REAL TV!

Soap operas...ive never understood why people like them? They must have REALLY boring lifes.

Ths is not a show but all adam sandler movies suck. I turned mr deeds off after 10minutes.

I basically hate everything on TV except for Junkyard Wars and TLC/Discovery channel.

- I hate skewed dirty biased newscasts (all north american journalists are yellower than my first piss of the day...)
- I hate all talk shows
- I hate "reality" shows (I mean come on folks, is the average viewer so stupid as to believe an ounce of that is real and not staged?)
- I hate trendy sitcoms
- I HATE SEINFELD!!! What a whiney fuck...
- I hate soaps...
- I hate wrestling...

Well, Seinfeld did have Kramer. Thats one of the best TV Characters to hit the small screen.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM-Yes Madden is a horrible add on to Monday night.
Curb Your Enthusiasm- It's kind of Seinfeldish without the Kramer
Any frickin doctor shows-I'm sick and tired of turning my TV on to-"I need an IV stat"
Will & Grace is Booness
Berny Mack sucks pooter
Malcom in the middle sucks cooter

You know what, I realized typing this that their are way too many shows that are revolting. I watch very few which I wont list seeing as this is a TV bashing thread. The rest of TV is pure Feces delight.

I agree with you! Love the show, can't stand Jerry, but everyone else is funny as hell. ESPECIALLY George. Seinfeld is, in my opinion, the second best sitcom ever. Next to The Simpsons.

*Most of the new infomercials. I used to love those things but now all you see is that cooker by Ronco, Bowflex, Tony little and that Gazelle thing, old people's cream, and Chuck Norris.
*Any show with a laugh track that they play after every 2 sentences, ie. every show on primetime TV

I have every episode (Including the banned Weinstein episode that never aired) and re-re-re-watch them regularely.

FmRommel ... There was one episode of Family Guy which has never aired on TV because it was banned by FOX. It's no more (or less) offensive than the other episodes, but instead of poking fun at irish or black or arab or new-yorker or white trash or gay or handicapped or drunks stereotypes, it pokes fun at Jewish stereotypes.

Fox outright banned it and even denied it's existance.

One of the artists who worked on the show before it was cancelled was on the alt.tv.family-guy newsgroup managed to sneak a copy out and leaked it in Mpeg-DVD format a few months ago.
