    What music you into

i love country but this new so called ***** whipped country is just not country its pop music with a southern accent .

you dont hear george jones, hank williams snr, willie nelson, and i love patsy and travis traitt and a few years ago i thought john mihael montgomery was going to be the next real thing (god was i wrong ) his brother montgomery gents are better more real

i was sitting listening to the george strait and alan jackson song murder on music row and wonder where did it start to go wrong .

some people hate and blame garth but i love some of his stuff . but when i watch billy ray cyrus on that bloody disney show . it makes my blood boil . this was a guy with some great music anyone remember his album trail of tears .

what chance has real music got when we have radio station playing miley cyrus as country . i havent heard a good real country song in ages .and if anyone mention tim mcgraw i swear ill hire a hit man to track them down i blame his own label for partly distroying this once proud music .

any way rant over whats your music tastes and do you think they have been dumbed down to sell more albums

You have to listen to country stations that play old and new country.

Here's a list of the country I have on my computer right now:

Older- Alabama, Alan Jackson, Blackhawk, Brooks and Dunn, Clint Black, Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks, George Jones, George Strait, Hank Jr, Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, Lee Ann Womack, Merle Haggard, Randy Travis

Newer- Ashton Shepherd, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Jamey Johnson, Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Sugarland, Taylor Swift (yes, Taylor Swift), Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Tracy Lawrence

I do understand what you're saying to an extent though. I can't stand most Rascal Flatts stuff. I think what's going on is country music is made for everyone now, not just southerners; therefore, it's made so everyone can understand it.

You want to hear some good new country, try out Jamey Johnson.

Do yourselves a favor and get the new album by CYNIC.

Or just keep listening to the same garbage you're listing.

yeah, almost EXACTLY the same. wonder where they got that layout.... but i like it more, and have been using it for a while.

i listen to mostly rap/hip hop.
    best cd's imo

    jay z - the blueprint
kanye west - college dropout (he has some nice lines)
nas - stillmatic (yes i like it more than illmatic)
and for a little change of pace
young jeezy - thug motivation 101 (his first cd)

but i also listen to a lot of other stuff, idk what genre
some brand new, say anything, cartel, even lily allen haha..
my itunes has so much stuff, just no rock/country/jazz, stuff like that.

also, some techno, tiesto, armin van buuren. best one probably he is a pirate remix, little bird ft cass, or ayla
