Almost passed out while getting blood drawn today.

Getting my bloodwork done this morning. Don't have trouble with stuff like that usually but for some reason it didn't go well this morning. Had to fast for 12 hours.

The girl filled 7 vials. At the 7th vial I don't know what the f*ck happened but I got a heat flash and I was like 'holy f*ck, I ain't feeling good'. I was sitting and had one of them arm rests in front of me. Told the nurse and leaned forward, rested my head on my hands for a bit. NOT A GOOD FEELING. Felt really hot, then cold sweats, and this is overwhelming bad feeling. It went away after like 5 minutes.

Anybody else had that happened to them before? I'm not scared of needles or anything and I wasn't anxious about it either. Was pretty psyched actually. Can't wait to see my testosterone levels .

Exzact same thing happend to me a few weeks ago.

But the nurse missed my vein like 3 times and I watched the whole thing.

I dont know how she missed the thing? It was a fatty vein.

    What a fvcking pusssy!!

Just kidding. I obviously don't have problem with IM injections, but I do not enjoy getting that big ass IV needle put in my vein. It always bothers me, I can't watch.

I wrote that awhile ago. It seemed like every other day there was a new thread started about passing out or getting light headed from injecting. So I decided to write a brief, none-technical thread to explain it. I wish it was a sticky so I dont have to constantly post it up....

Yup, something about veins and taking blood is just not cool!
