    yes, it's layne staley, IMHO, one of the best rock singers ever...definitely the best one from grunge era seattle

    oh, BTW, if you are/were a AIC fan, check out the band "Mad Season"...it's Layne as the lead singer, the guitar player from pearl jam (Mike Mccready maybe?) and the drummer from Screaming Trees, plus another Seattle grunge era guy, but man that is one kick ass band...layne's voice is incredible on that album...you can dowload it off of kazaa, but be sure NOT to get it confused with that pussy ass matchbox 20 song called "mad season"...lol...
