Honestly I think old men (usually wearing hats) are a lot more dangerous than women drivers

You know the kind, they usually drive massive cars, can barely see over the dash, drive 5 MPH but never stop at a stop sign.

Hmmm hate to say this but most SUV's will flip easily from a T-bone side impact, and it doesn't have to be particularely fast one. Insurance companies don't claim SUV's are unstable just for fun... it's true... (and of course what do I drive? )

Just look at his door where his SUV was hit, truck probably shot right up on impact.

Getting people out of mangled vehicles was one of my least favorite things in the fire dept. It's delicate work, and moving people who are in pain to extricate and package them from a wreck (often causing them more pain) was really rough. I really tip my hat to Trauma ER personnel who deal with those victims on a daily basis.

In the last 11 years I've seen more than my share of nasty accidents. I don't wish it on anyone.

Bostonbobby ... Damm man, only thing I can say is that you had a decent set of wheels there... double flip and the roof supports barely collapsed.

If you don't mind my asking, what was the mechanism of injury? Side impact looks substancial, but door doesn't look driven in that much, and drivers seat is still relatively straight.

Sorry to hear about your accident but it is nice to see that you have very high spirits and it hasn't even been a year yet. You are truely a very strong person both pysically and mentally. I see these accidents time and time again at work and sometimes I can't believe how people walk away. It really makes you understand how precious life is after a close call like that.

Here is a pic of my buddies car he is also a member at this board Bosco0633 and I can't believe he walked away from this one. I was supposed to be in the car with him at the time but do to some circumstances I wasn't. Thank god for that. Because I would have been dead.

He rolled his car 6 times about 150-200ft.

Ouch, ejection... that really bites bro... I won't pull out old "war stories" about ejections, but I sure am glad you survived it.

    Have you started lifting again?

last year i was driving my F-150 2000 (jacked up) on the highway, i was going fast like 90 and my freind was behind me and cut me off, and i turned to avoid him and since my truck was lifted it didnt have much balance and one side lifted up, and i smacked into the side of an 18 wheeler , then he sent me into the cement median around 80 mph , $7000 of damage, i didnt get some much as a scratch , no seat belt either. I still forget to put my seat belt most the time, but ill try harder after reading your post.
