I was doing dips as ususal a couple days ago. I always feel pressure on my chest when doing them, and i went down farther then usual and hurd a "pop" it didnt hurt really, but i stopped. and when I breath deep and exchale sometimes i feel something move,..
anyone ever get this?? whats going on!
Sometimes when i twist my upper body i get a "pop" in the middle of my chest. Right between the pecs. But i have never felt like something moved around in there :) If your really worried go see a doc bro.
when you say you feel something move, what does it feel like it could be? tissue, ligaments, the muscle? doubtful it is bone since you don't have acute pain after this happened...maybe it was cartilage...
when i breath in deeply and exhale and relax, its like something goes out, then slides back in... not sure how else to describe?
i'll give it a couple days then maybe go to the doctors if it doesnt change
I've got the same thing man. Every once in a while if I breath in real deep I'll get that "pre pop pain" that you get just before a knucke pops, and if I shrug my shoulders blades together and arch my back, my chest in between my pecs will pop? It doesn't hurt per say its just weird. I had a doc xray it and he said that he couldn't find any signs of a break or trauma? Basically he just told me to not worry about it.......:unsure:

i have the ability (well not ability) to lean back, and pop my sternum...
this comes from bad form when i first started lifting weights....bounching 315 off your chest a few times will do it.
To this day, i dont know if it's ligaments, bone, or just popping...
I'm assuming i cracked my sternum...but who the hell knows...
i consider it a battel scar...

ya.. its doesnt really hurt, just weird!
well, I'll just see if it doesnt get worse. its actualy less noticable today
Sometime my sternum crack just like i would crack my neck it scary.. It uselly happen to me when i put too much strain on the sternumn from dips.. When i take a deep breath i feel weird pain.. And goes by the next day.. I just hope it wont crack wide open one day!!!
