Advice sought: Topic/ Love life and your opinions

Well, if your reading this chances are you are extremely booooored! Well so am I, i'm sitting here at work and keep thinking about having to find a new appartment (my current lease ends in may and wont be renewed) and women.

As some of you may or may not know, recently i was handed my heart on a silver platter, after she had ripped it outta my chest. Basically the story goes, we dated for awhile a bit ago, then broke up, met up again and again, and decided it must mean something (blah i so do not believe in this fate shit anymore) At any rate, that ended and i was all torn up about it for awhile. Well last week, in an effort to get some sort of life back, i decided to go out to the bar to see a friend who was playing in a local band.

Now, i couldnt drink due to my current cycle, but I figured, what the hell, i'd go have some fun


My friend shows up and brings his sister (20yrs old, and OH MY GOD HOT)

well i decide i'm out to have a good time, and nothing is quite as fun as talking to new people..and if they are hot well that's just gravy. well we talk for a few hours, and are getting to know each other n' shit. Well before the night is over, i get her number, and kiss her goodbye.

i'm all happy as a mo'fo, simply because i got my mind off of the ex for a lil' bit. I expected nothing more (infact i expected to call her up and get no answer)

So the next day, i again decide i need a further break from reality. I have a friend (female) that i went to college with and I decide i'm gonna drive 3 hours to the beach to visit her. I go down, we hang out etc etc...just catch up on old times and what not...I had a great time. Well I leave to come back and I call the girl from the bar up..she's not there (no loss, i expected this to happen)

So i get back home, and decide to go wash and clean out the car...well it must be my lucky day or something because another ex see's me and pulls up beside me...we exchange numbers and she kisses me and leaves (at this point i'm thinking there must be some kinda cosmic joke that i'm being set up for, because shit never goes this good)

Well Monday (this all started on a Thursday of the proir week) comes and I decide to call the girl from the bar one last time...and WOAH, she answers the phone and IS there..

we make plans last night to go out Saturday... Now the problem. This girl is just like me.. From talking to her, she's outgoing, shy when she needs to be, and evidently as big of a smartass/flirt as me.

The one good thing about this, I expect nothing.

But I dont know what to take this girl to do!!! I told her I'd take her to dinner and then we could figure it out from there. But that just sounds lame to me.

She wants me to pick, but i dont wanna pick something she doesnt like, etc.

Granted I do believe we will spend most of the night flirting n' such... So i'm thinking i wanna do something we can flirt with each other while doing..any suggestions!

Going to a club is out..she's not much into that...*(to bad too, she's got a bangin' body)*

At this point I'm fresh outta idea's to take this girl to do. I want it to be something social and fun, but it is just going to be us two. I figure we can talk n' such over dinner, but what's after that? I mean if things go they way they have been the last 10 or so days, I wont have to worry about it, because we will be at my appartment...lol however..i'm not a whore...well ALL GUYS are whores...whom i tryin to kid...but seriously, I just wanna take her out in an environment where we can both have fun, have some casual flirting, yet have a good time.

I was thinking like maybe to play pool or something, but i'm not sure...so lets hear some idea's PLLLLLEASE

I'll throw my .02 in even though i have been married for years now! Anytime I ever met a girl I would always be more worried about what she wanted to do, and I was always worried about her state of being(if that makes sense). This always seemed to get me in trouble because nine times out of ten we were just simply incompatible. I would always end up doing stuff that I hated only to impress the girl or just simply to make sure that she was happy. It was never for me. I finally came to the conclusion to say "f**k it"! I was no longer going to worry about her, I was going to concentrate on making myself happy! Low and behold after several girls and rollercoaster rides I landed the big catch! She didn't necessarily enjoy 100% of the things that I did, but she had incredible acceptance for who I was and what I wanted to do! To this day she still accepts my wishes and still loves me for me! Even after I flat out told her that I was going to cycle, she didn't agree, but she kept her mouth shut and doesn't bother me about it! I couldn't have asked for a better woman!

Do what YOU want to do, cause if the girl can't handle that then there will never be room for compromise! If she is the one then outside of your heart everything else is just filler! Be happy bro, for it is the only thing that keeps us sane in this crazy ass society of ours!:)

SO take her to do something i wanna do! Hmmm I can do that.

I mean there is this local bar/pool hall that we all hang out at. I was just trying to do something so that we could have some sorta privacy. I still do not know this girl terribly well, and she is a friend of mines sister. I would hate to take her out somewhere that we are all there, because I am trying to have some respect for my boy and not be all up on his sister in front of him, even though he doesnt care.

Who knows what will happen, I'm not saying she's the one...infact at this point i'm not sure she's even in the running, but she is damn fun to talk with and I think once she comes outta her shell, or i figure out what she's after/looking for, things will be better.

She's making me pick, so some of these choices will be based on how she's dressed that night etc etc.

I mean i'm not gonna take her ball room dancing if she's wearing jeans and a t'shirt ya know :)

I'm all hoping for a good time..thanx for advice...

Last saturday I called up a girl that I recently met. I didnt know her at all, just met her once. I called her up and we set to go, without having anything planned out, the date sucked, she was boring (I guess i was the same boring to her) now she thinks i'm just a guy, i dont really care though wasnt attracted to her anyways(just wanted to get lucky)....it was a boring date, just walked around and then sat down to drink coffee like a 60 year old couple...i was disapointed mostly at myself not having the thing planned out so we could have fun.

Useless post from me Lizard, I just wanted to know what you wanna know for future refrences....

well i've found out she's not as bad as my last girl...my last girl only ate chicken...great for my diet, bad if i wanted steak!

I think i'm going to take this grrly to eat italian. It will be my last day where i can get 300g of carbs (*due to being 3 weeks left in the diet*)

So I'm gonna take her to the Olive Garden, or Caraba's or something, depends on a few things...No biggie either way.

Then after the dinner, I'm still at a loss!!!! I guess i'll have to make a decision while at dinner. Granted our interaction will play a large part in it. however, i want something fun. But wouldnt it be gay to say..hmmm dinner and a movie..i mean i dont want a movie, not unless we watch it from my couch, where we can be pausing and making out. Movies just seem so childish...

Granted i'm not old by anymeans, i just wanna "go out" and have fun...but still, i'm at a loss for what TO DO...

Recommendations please!!!! What do i wanna do...shit, just have fun, i dont care..but that's the problem, i dont have any idea what to go do!!!! So long as i'm happy all is well, and grrr i'm brain dead...idea's please...

Bowling!!!

back in the day, i found out that movies were a waste of time, you couldnt talk to the person. my suggestions (they always seem to work for me) in no particular order:

1) Bowling (go tolinka). you can talk, have a good time and whatnot. its a plus if you really suck, so she feels like you didnt let her win.

2) a womens collegiate Volleyball game. (or any sport). very few people go, they are usually free and you can talk. my fave.

3) a star gazing session or planetarium. many cities have open nights on the local small scope and such.

the key points to impress are: being able to talk, doing something out of the ordinary, and doind something fun

Playing pool I think is a good idea... It was always my favorite.. It's not too intimate but yet you have your own table/and area where you can have a nice conversation.. You get the music, usually a good crowd depending on where you go..(just don't go to a too congested place), and if she can't play pool too well, (like me :( ), you can always play darts and drink beer!

ok the general idea looks like pool or bowling.

Well, i'll talk over dinner and find out if she dislikes either of those, if she does, i'll figure something out.

She seems like a kool chica...and granted I dont know her well at all buuut, that's the point of going out.

At any rate, i've got no expectations.

She talks a lotta shit, and it is funny because i've called her on it once *by kissing her* and i told her that she should watch how much shit she talks, because she will be called out on it...she just started laughing and said...maybe we shouldnt go out...I might not get home.

So i'm taking that as a good sign...ya know it's gonna be fun when two flirts who are bad smartasses get togethor....

I'll keep ya updated on what's going on...who know's the date may fall through at this point.

At any rate, it's good enough to keep me occupied for a lil' bit:)

bowling remains at the top of my list for a fun no pressure date...at least i know if the girl turns me off i will still enjoy hurling the ball down the lane :) the only caveat is all the damn cigarette smoke wafting around plus everyone drinking beer...talk about a low pressure situation while on cycle...

if you really wanted to you could take her to a place like dave and busters or some adult entertainment place that carries a great crowd plus has a million things to do...ive taken girls there before and played pop-a-shot, skeeball, and all those other video games. plus you can let her win at some stuff without making it too obvious...

my last suggestion is ice skating...i think my greatest success of the winter came from taking a girl ice skating because we were holding hands the entire time, she fell a couple times, so did i...lots of casual contact that translates into affection. plus you get to see kids all happy and full of energy and it really makes for a good time. the girl in this story happens to be my current gf too, so go figure. good luck bro!

That is a good idea Babyweight.

Allthough, make sure you can do it kinup. I tried that once and as soon as I hit the ice my ankles fell inward and i went into an incredibly horiffying and embharassing crash wich left me with a busted up looking face and a speared confidence(for ice skating anyway).

What can I say, I'm a Houston boy. We don't be doin no winter sports round here

another is always mini golf (putt-putt). i always loved that. or if there is a carnival around. nothing like getting crushed together in the tea cup ride! :)

Maybe I am boring, but I like the coffee shop thing. The local one usually has a live band, but it is not loud so you can still talk...bowling is a good idea, but I think pool would be better. Dave & Busters rocks!! That place is so much fun...

take her to a hockey game, or a pre-season baseball game. maybe a concert, even if you don't know who's playing. my wife and I do crap like that all the time. go to a sushi bar or if you need to raise on your porn test you can take her to a first run porn movie and get some magazines at the same time. that ought to bump you 15 points in one night :0

my wife loved to go to the disney store or hang out at a cool restaurant like dave and busters or planet hollywood. go on a boat ride or take a ski lift to the top and back when its warm out.
