Just donated some blood over at the German Clinic......
..... and these younger men or older teanagers were peeking around the corner, like they had never seen anything like this before. One kid asked me if it hurt, and I told him of all the pains one can experience, this is a little pain. Jokingly, I asked the kid if he was next, and laughter erupted as he said "NO - that needle is a very big size".... sh1t mates, I thought he was the one that was going to pass out

Good for you on donating blood TR. Maybe it will save a few lives. The needle is big but I agree not much pain involved at all.

LOL I dont ever even feel it when they stick me to take blood test.
Just something to think about. I gave blood once, when my work had a blood drive. I was 23. Yup I was a good kid trying to help my fellow man. I can never give blood again or donate my body parts.
I walked out with Hepatitis B. 2 weeks after giving blood I almost died, litteraly. I went from working out 6 days a week, 1.5 hrs a day 170 lbs (yeah I was a light weight then, very lean) down to 125 lbs in 2 weeks. I knew something was wrong when my arms/biceps where the same size as my wrist. Hmmmm
It took my 4 months before I could work again and years (if every) before my brain recovered. I think I was in a fog for a few years.
I remember noticing and commenting on the attendant to the guy next to me; hey isnt he supposed to be changing his gloves between patients? To late.....
Just keep an eye out during any medical procedure, even something simple like blood test or donating. People are careless.

it's weird... there were no questioneres, no questions, but the doc asked me if i had high blood pressure, since donating is good for that.

It's even better for lowering iron buildup and it's a great idea for basic rejuvenation. Lots of clinics use this as part of the therapy, donate blood ever 3 months so your system is constantly producing new blood and the old blood with high minerals/iron dont have to overwork your kidneys for filtering.

I donate blood also..... they constantly contact me because I have the rarest of the rare blood. I must get 2 phone calls a week from different centers doing blood drives.
The last time I went - the lady did the finger prick on the side of my finger instead of on the "pad" part...... that fvckin hurt lol. Everything else is pretty painless..... the needle actually doesn't hurt going into the vein. Comming out doesn't "hurt" but theres more of a pinch.....
I do have a tattoo...... they didn't sem to care.....
