Twice a day. In the last 3 years we only missed time(34 days) cause i was hospitalized for 27 of those days. It also helps that she works from home.

I believe the lack of sex comes from living together and watching f*cking television. That box is the devil. We all watch our crap until we are tired and then go to bed. You have to really want sex to turn off the TV...opiate of the masses, indeed.

My wife and I were only having sex a few times a year. I avoided it actually...then I started TRT and everything changed. Turns out she was having some hormone problems as well. Now we are both on the juice and are back in the "several times a week" group.

Amost 21 years of marriage and the current average is probably 4X a week.

Anyone who has been married very long knows that there are peaks and valleys in a couples sex life, especially since you have to take womens hormones into consideration. Sometimes her labido matches mine and sometimes it doesn't. So the average can flow between 2X-6X depending on countless variables.

I will add this...a partial hysterectomy (still has ovaries) and prescribed HRT + my cycles has made two 40 year olds more like two 18 year olds

sounds about right. If you want to have a great sex life, don't get married? Or practice polygamy and marry at least 5 women, so then you might be able to have sex every day.

that's a weak way of looking at it mate. both partners are responsible for their sex lives, not just the woman. If you want excitement, then it's up to you to make it happen. Don't wait for it to happen, else you might be waiting for a while.

Yeah it's true, have had decent success the times I put more effort in to things, and I often say things that I only partially mean, cause in all honesty marriage isn't just about that and I wouldn't trade it for being where I was a few years ago, kids are amazing too. One thing I don't like about trying to improve things is if the other doesn't respond well, I don't really like to be pushy and don't enjoy it if they are just going through the motions. Never pushed girls into things when dating either.

I agree with the tv issue, hate the tv, wish I could remove it from my house, and cell phones have gotten even worse with all the stupid crap on iphones, instead of hanging out with family and playing cards or doing something fun it turns in to all of them sitting around on cell phones. But being preoccupied with things till you are so tired no time for sex puts a damper on things. I bet people that supposedly have more boring lives that time turns into real fun time.

Number one complaint I hear from married guys at work are once they get married it all slowed down. So they look elsewhere, craigslist included. And there are a lot of married guys on there looking for both sides of the sex fence. They don't seem to care as long as it's a warm body. But back to the married ones at work. yeah it's sad how much they complain about lack of nookie. and a lot of them are my age and slightly younger. And their marriage is only like 2 or 3 years young. Yeah it's a shame I work with them. But some bridges aren't to be crossed especially at work....

Me and my wife go through stages - we always have sex regularly but go through times where it's fairly boring and other times where it's the best sex of my life and I can't believe that this is the same lady I've had sex with thousands of times. Funny how it seems to coincide with when I'm on cycle.
