    splitting work and gym

I picked up a part time job doing warehouse work and the hours are wonky and not very predictable from week to week. Its also a lot of lifting being a warehouse, so I do get sore from it. I'm looking at a week of 2 consecutive days of 12hr shifts and a few days of 6hrs. My question is, do any of you have jobs that make you sore or unable to workout? I have put of a few leg days because I know unloading a full truck of TVs would suck dick with sore quads and glutes. Are there any solutions? other than man up, lol.

Make the 2 consecutive days your days off from the gym.

I work 12 hour night shift (opposite my wife) two days on off then three. It's very hard but it can be done. Along with my long commute timing is very crucial. Just hunker down and Youll b ok

Thanks, youre right I will get used to it eventually. I just have to buckle down and hit the weights on days I may feel tired from work.

My gym is open 24 hr. I go in at 4AM to work out rather than after a 12 hr workday. Coffee is a must. Plus I miss all the after work fitness people.
