DB Military Press. 1 warm. 2 working. Threw the 60 's up for 8. Felt good. Figured 80's were doable. Threw them up to shoulders and started to press. Got 1/4 of the way up. Kept pushing. Nothing. Stuck. Held and pressed. Nothing. Dropped to70's got 4. Next week I own the 80's

DB side laterals. 2 working with a drop

    Front Raises. 2 working

    Reverse pec dec. 2 working.

    Blew them up.

70/80 Incline/flat but I can't fly that much so I usually have 50/60 to drop to.

On incline I jumped to 100s 6-8 flys/4-6 presses then reps go wayyy down even if dropping by 10lbs... usually that's the hardest set or that and the last drop gotta do my flys really slow due to shoulder, too

Since your delts are almost just as strong as your pressing movements - do you think you recruit your delts moreso when you bench or press??(my buddy is delt dominant and caves his chest and relies on his delts moreso than his synergistic triceps, which obviously makes it harder for anyone) trying to get him to break that habit but when he's tired it's tough for him not to do it

Seriously doubt you can do 1 rep of flys with 100lbs

If you are, you use more weight than all the pros.

I do more than one rep BB and no they fly over 100s / you gotta remember I can't stretch any fly more than I can due to my shoulder ... I'm surprised by this statement BB!

I'll video tape it for you! 100s flys usually fail or sloppy rep at 5-7 tbh then presses I'll do 4-6 w/forced reps...

What do you think I'm lying lol no need to

Dont get your panties wet lol

I just think you are not really doing flys, just presses with neutral grip. Real flys with high weight put a lot of pressure on biceps tendons and shoulder joint, its not an exercise that anyone should do with high weight IMHO. Constant stress and stretch its the main objective, again its only my opinion. Bad form will just transform the exercise in another press movement.

Lmfao panties did get a little bunched haha

Yes your right lots of stress in the bicep tendons and whole shoulder girdle... I'll lower the weight to see if I can get a better stretch and focus more on the squeeze... and slow down the tempo of the reps moreso and see!

    Always appreciate your input brother

Chest and arms yesterday. Normal stuff for me. Good workout, chest was strong. One thing I did do different for Bi's was to do seated simultaneous dumbell curls. Man, I really felt these things. Haven't done them in a while. Need to get some growth!

I suffer from the same issue as your buddy my chest will never catch up to my shoulders they will always be dominant..i really have to concentrate and press slowly both up and down never letting the weight off of the pec or I will loose the contraction...I kind of sucks really...

Damn straight. It started really showing out about 30 minutes ago. Lots of the old school B&W horror movie type lightning. Rain is kind of rolling through in bands like we get from the tropical storms.

Hit it hard and heavy tonight, or at least heavy for me. Got a really good overall pump as well. Was walking down the aisle way at work trying to decide if my legs were going to get me back to the shop and one of the young ladies I cut up.with stopped me and complimented me. Said when I took my rain jacket off she noticed I am getting wider in the upper back and shoulders. Pretty much made my night.

    1 set of crunches
Leg extensions- 2 w/u, Work-19,drop,5+,drop,6+ reps. 10 count hold on partials.
    Hacks - 2 w/u, Work- 10, rest pause, 3, rest pause,1+ rep.
Reverse hacks- 1 w/u, Work- 10 reps, rest pause, 3 reps. Held the weight just shy of lockout w/o using the safeties on the rest pause.
Leg press- 1 w/u, Work1- (feet wide) 11,rest pause, 2+ reps. Held the weight just shy of lockout w/o using the safeties on the rest pause. Drop a little weight. Work2-(feet narrow)- 10 reps, rest pause, 2 reps. Held the weight just shy of lockout w/o using the safeties on the rest pause.
Standing calf raises- Work- 8 reps, rest pause, 4 reps, drop, 9 reps, rest pause, 3 reps w/ double pump at the top.

Finally, a semi-decent night. Drank a shake about 4 hours ago and eating 9 oz. grilled chicken breast and an undetermined quantity of steamed leeks now.
Legs are defo smoked. I think if I had to climb a ladder I would just take vacation and go home.

me too... I am still functioning ok and I still can train. I am training enough to maintain at least. They have me on 2 different antibiotics this round and for 14 days. Hopefully this time it works. It was working before but just didn't quit get it all each time so it comes back. If this doesn't work then they do a culture from my lung and treat it to determine the right antibiotic that will kill the bacteria.

Stay on top of it and stay rested, hydrated, well fed, and try to minimize any stress, especially as long as.you have battling this. I can personally attest to the fact that some viruses can slide in while you're beat down and do some nasty things.
This is what your third round with pneumonia? Honestly, I would limit my physical exercise to stuff like walking around in your yard or tinkering around getting your lawnmower ready for cutting season.
Plus, you have a good many ball games coming up right? Or did I get the timing wrong?
Defo want to be in good shape to attend those!

Which antibiotics do they have you on? I know they gotta be strong... have they offered to leave the IV in so you get IV antibiotics without staying in hospital - I've done that

12 oz. grilled 90/10 burger and about 14 grilled asparagus spears, and a tiny red.potato. Hopefully not too much.

    Have a good day, everyone!
