Think I may be doing d'bell preachers/incline d'bell curls off the back of the bench like that. Back of my bench is set maybe 1 notch from being perpendicular to the seat. Try to get the arm as straight as possible at the bottom so that the hand almost touches the padding?

    What's up everyone!

Gotta doc apt on the 7th to check out my esophagus from all the acid reflux but I took some apple cider vinegar this am which should help with balance out the acids in my stomach - gonna do it again soon and I know I'm releasing way to much cortisol which turns to anxiety(something I've been dealing with much more so lately) so trying to stay calm will be back in gym by tomorrow if all stays as it should - I'm chomping at the damn bit to get consistent again including my diet!

@ Kel - anything in particular I should ask about the scope etc?? Thx

Hope your all doing well keep killing it fellas!

I just jam the top of the bench into my arm-pit (sorry) and lower it maybe 90%. Not a fan right now of going anywhere near full extension.

Nah, simple procedure. Be happy you're not doing both ends. The lower end requires a lot of unpleasant prep. Seriously unpleasant. A little trick for acid reflux is to prop the head of your bed up a couple inches. Sounds silly but it can make a difference where the acid doesn't make its way north while sleeping.

ps: ask for a scope that wasn't used up someones arse a few minutes earlier. ........

My experience water makes reflux worse. Milk helps to a degree. Like Kel said elevate your head at night. Nexium is a God send for me. Scope is easy. They knock you out and shove it down your throat. Wake up and have someone drive you home. You'll be loopy.

    Funny story...

So, first off I trained shoulders and triceps today. Great session, hit the hard with 6-8 rep working sets and even took the weight up a little on a few.

But then...today happens to be a TRT pin day. No biggie, nothing I haven't done hundreds of times before. It also happens that my glutes are up in the rotation this week. So, after my workout, before getting in the shower I get the pin loaded up, reach back and jab it in my right glute....and almost immediately realize I fuc$ed up! My delts were still toast from training, and with my arm pulled back in the slightly awkward glute pinning position, I COULD NOT stop my arm from shaking for the life of me! I looked like an epileptic trying to give myself a shot! If it wasn't a baby TRT dose, I would have pulled out and used a different site, but as it was I decided to just get it done. But that frigging pin was all over the place and I'm bound to have some pip from the way it was shaking around in there!

Don't pin glutes after training delts!

Any thoughts? Barrett's syndrome came to me as Kel mentioned that a while back to someone in here(it was a long ways back tho) idk just looking to change my diet around really as that usually has such a deep impact on things anyway!
    Thx all.
I have a lot of digestive issues. I stay away from bubbles - seltzer - soda - champagne.

Stomach calms down when eat clean. Don't eat before bed. Limit spicy food (Mexican).

    Eating slow. Chewing food complexity.

    Stuff like that.

Awesome I appreciate the input, Girly!

And I've noticed since cutting out seltzer or anything carbonated has really helped

Gotcha on the full extension. Which leads to another question, LOL. When you do curls off the back of the bench, is your arm parallel with the sides of the bench or at an angle from the side of the bench? I get a different feel from each and wondered if it was just me something other people do.
Same here on seating the top/end of the back of the bench into the armpit. I just have to widen my stance some and lean a bit to get to the right height?

    Morning fellas ladies!

It was my Birthday yesterday so got to go out to a nice dinner w/my gf last night... very nice dinner but had a few martinis(not good for the stomach I know lol) but only 2... I'm getting my ass in gear this week as I start my new job and training will commence... just feel real tired ATM and still recovering from some health issues and being sick(not having a spleen really draws things out) way too much for me... diet and consistency! I haven't lost too much strength which is great as my shape so it's time to pick it up!

    **Marcus's HIT Dungeon**

Okay my peeps! I am going to try carb cycling. BIB was trying to help me, but for some reason it wasn't clicking. I think I have finally figured it out and am curious if anyone can give me insight as to this?

BIB suggest my calories be 12k a week.

How are these targets for low (5days a week) and high (2days)
I was wanting to start tomorrow.

I read a book on it and understand it more so.

I am trying to cut some fat and fluff AND trying to stay on gear so I can fit my formal for the event in 3 weeks. If not then I have to pull off cycle WAY early.

Anyone have experience with carb cycling cutting fluff too (water weight)

    Anyone have opinions on diuretics?

Sorry for all the questions. I just don't want to have to end cycle

    No diuretics. No.

Same here on seating the top/end of the back of the bench into the armpit. I just have to widen my stance some and lean a bit to get to the right height?
Upper arms pretty flat on the bench so parallel. And yes, have to widen stance as well. Whatever works, right!

    Happy birthday brother!
