If weighed cooked don't you get to eat more than if you weighed it before cooking it ?

I have always weighed mine when I do weigh it before cooking.

    Hope that make sense.

Damn no wonder I am over here starving most of the time. Heck you can almost eat .25 to .5 more if you weigh it after cooking. WTF am I doing starving myself?? LOL...No wonder I am small...

I did weigh today. 6''4 6'5 which ever 240.Hell Yea.

Had a good leg workout today.

    Back squat 1W/U 3F 1W 4 reps + 1F (was helped) DS 3 + DS 3 (New weight)

Straight Leg Deads 2F 1W 8 + DS 2+ DS 3 (New wight, missed my drop set)

    Leg Ext 2f 1W 9 + DS 5+ DS 5 + partials

    Leg Curls 2F 1W 7 +DS 4+ DS+ 5 and squeezed my ass off at the top.

Was going to do some walking lunges but I was spent after leg curls and everything else. So I tried to stretch some I was in pain. Good workout for sure. I am stronger now than I have ever been in my life on pretty much every lift guys. I am going to give this thread and everyone in here credit for that. Thanks

Now I just need to get with Bio and get my diet on point. I eat clean 90% of the time and I have just realized I am weighing my food wrong now. So I am not eating enough, I don't think. To eat 3300-3500 cals clean that's a lot of eating ED. Still gaining weight though because its not all super clean. This week with Thanksgiving 3500 cals want be nothing but none will be clean. LOL..

Off to take a nap now.

Good Igi... I got a w/o tomorrow for work... And it fvkin means conditioning too... I hate this conditioning shit lol we lift heavy arse weights not run!!!

Back PULLBACK.... But my shoulders were sore going in, moreso than usual :/...
Stretching abs RC ex's lots of em kept the 5lb plates w/me walking on treadmill for 5min more stretching(hammies/low back) - did higher end reps and nothing to failure but more TUT(4-2-4 tempo/positive-static-negative)

    Chins neutral grip
    2w till I couldn't

    WIDE(not real wide)Grip Pulldowns
2warm ups 2feelers - 2w 10/9 much tougher and had to lighten the load to reach these reps while under that tempo & tension

Straight arm Pulldowns w/long bar(closer than shoulder width
2 feelers 2w 13/11 tough on that static hold

    BB Bent over Rows
    3 feelers(same weight throughout) 2w 11/9+RP/1

Weights done in 20min I'm spent hitting those higher end reps -- gonna ice my shoulder I probably shouldn't have went in the way they were feeling... Still a good session MMC was on point especially with the TUT! Stopped early due to shoulder wasn't even going to go - but I'll make it up w/delts and traps....

note *** I didn't get thru most of these ex I thought I would so I'm going back over hitting the long bar seated rows - smith BB rows, neutral grip rows, hypers

I need a mailing address. Now I can't buy scales for everyone on the forum. Lol. I use a scale when my weight starts nearing the upper control limit which has been decreasing over time. Want to get to place where I never need a scale.

Same here. Weighting after cooking is less messy and if I drop weight too fast (which rarely happens ) or if I put on a bit of weight, the amount is adjusted. I do keep a log of what I each day, so adjustments are easy.

Evening, everyone. Woke up with a fever. Not bad, just a smidge over 100, so I popped some Coricidin HBP, am going to eat a big bowl of homemade beef/veggie soup and crash back out. Plan to set my alarms for 2:45-3:15 or so and if I feel righteous, I will grab a back session before going into work on the much despised day shift. Working day shift for 2 days and really should try to lift before work so I will be in my "happy place" and can resist the urge to scold those that irk me.
Did my "Black Friday" shopping early and have "supplies" headed tbis way for future use I believe Amazon will be my "go to" for my other Christmas shopping this year. There is just no time for shopping with work.
To all of my North American brothers and sisters, have a safe, happy, high protein Thanksgiving. To all of my family everywhere else, as always, be happy, safe, and well.
Much respect to all of you.

Same here! I'll be cracking walnuts as well, Clarky. It may be later in the day when I get to post up my lift. Depends on how my time runs this morning and what all is going on when I get to work.

Not even worth mentioning or posting about, complete sh1t and I trained like a normal man, pointless and worthless like the cvnt I am.

Not doing well at the moment, had a bug over the last couple of days and not ate anything, dropped 14lbs in 2 days lol. Look fuking good lol but cant stand it and all I feel like to eat now is sh1t food so that's what I am going to do, hopefully ive killed the bug off with the starvation.

Got any advice on how to appropriately survive a sickness without too much weight loss? I always get a cold or some trivial ailment every winter regardless of how I attempt at preventative supplementation..

Would you contribute majority of the weight lost to just intramuscular glycogen stores and some water? I couldn't imagine the catabolic progressiveness to be that swift. Especially with proteolysis generally being a rather eeelllooonnngggaaattteeeddd catabolic function.

The weight loss is only glycogen stores depleting and water that's all. If ive killed the bug off it will only take me 1-2 days to put more weight back on, just restore my stores

If your struggling with sickness just increase your vits, my all time do without vit is vit C for sickness. Seems to work for me but I don't really get sick often
    almostgone and NACH3 like this.

You using the old wives tale, "Starve a cold and feed a fever." Always a classic.

I just catch head colds throughout the winter months which eventually leads to my effort in the gym being completely nonexistent. I know we are all different, but what would you advice to be the grace period before you return to the iron after overcoming whatever ailment. I'd feel like if you jump in too fast you just potentiate the possibility of another infection from those opportunistic bastards taking advantage of the compromised immune function.

If you read it correctly it wasn't a cold, it was a bug (stomach) which if you starve it for around 24 hours they usually pass through. Colds are completing different thing altogether

Oh my bad. Wasn't always the best at reading!

Thanks for responding and be safe on your holidays!

Also, thanks for bringing into light what was wrong with my squatting so far in regards to mentioning breathing. I've begun noticing I don't maintain a consistent breathing rhythm on leg exercises which tend to be the only ones that I move a little bit of weight.

Sorry man.. Very frustrating. I went in yesterday for shoulders and don't think I warmed up properly. Did a couple sets of presses, went heavy, then 4 reps in and I feel something in my neck tear. I knew it instantly.

Been in a lot of pain since and now can barely move. Fvcking pissed. This will take a few days to heal. Seems I continue to injure myself lately. November as a whole was a piece of sh*t month for the gym and diet for me and I feel like I'm always bitching about something. I'm the biggest cvnt on the planet right now. I'm a pissed of cvnt with a torn neck who will have trouble lifting a fork to his mouth today. Fvck.
