    Arnold classic 2013

First time going this year! Have been to a few local bb shows but nothing major. I'm really looking forward to seeing the upper levels of bb up close. Anyone looking forward to the Arnold classic like myself!?

Not going this year but have been several times. If you've never seen these top guys in person you will be literally amazed. Take a small pair of binoculars for the show if not sitting up front. The expo is probably the best part, IMHO but just be patient as it's a mob scene. Enjoy it and take pics. Post some up here.

You'll regret it if you don't. I was first row balcony last time. Great seat but binoc's basically put you in the front row!

Expo's definitely the best part. I don't know if it's possible or if there's anywhere around there that's bigger but they definitely need a bigger venue because it gets pretty cramped in there. Obviously there's a lot of booths so if you enjoy that kind of thing you'll enjoy the expo. I'm not much for waiting in lines for hours on end to shake someones hand, I don't care who they are and there's plenty to do without doing that. Plus if you just keep walking around and looking at all the stuff, you'll find all the bodybuilders go to different booths throughout the day so eventually you'll find one at a booth early and beat the line. Works well if it's someone you'd really like to meet.

One of my favorite things about the ASC is simply people watching. You see people that you didn't even know existed in real life, I mean the ultimate in weird. My favorites of all time, a couple I once saw wearing black leather pants, black fishnet shirts and black leather hats...both were severely overweight but their clothes were skin tight and walked around like Mr. & Mrs. Amazon...awesome! Best ever though, there's this guy who comes every single year and will be hanging around wherever Monica Brant is. He's a small guy, late 40's to early 50's, about 5'7" maybe 160lbs, glasses like coke bottles and just this weird pervy look on his face. He always goes to her booth, gets a pic and I got to witness him dry hump her as he picked her up once....really weird/hysterical but she handled it well....still made me lough though.

The night show....unless you're really into BB you'll find it extremely boring....it never sells out anymore because let's face it, most people don't actually like BB. But if you do like it it's one of the better shows....better than the O a lot of the time if they do up the production right. Seems like some years they slack a little, money issues or something I guess but most years it's pretty cool. If you're in the balcony there are two very large screens that help but binoculars aren't a bad idea. The first year I ever went I had balcony seats and after an hour or so I notices several empty lower seats and pretty much just excused myself from the balcony and slid into one of them....ushers didn't notice and no one came over for their seats. A lot of the lower seats are given to various sponsors, supplement companies, etc. and you'll find a lot of them won't show up to the show if they don't have to.
