    Noopept

After two weeks of using now, it seems the effects for me have lessed. Week one was pretty crazy in a good way, but as I went into week two it seemed to decrease.

It still feel more awake/alert. I really dont have brain fog anymore. I wake up much easier and Im ready to go.

The thing that decreased for me was the "happy feeling"

Anyway, thats my update. Oh and I started my ab routine fully up. I added in some of Dans routine into, from his thread. Great results so far.

Its been a week for me and really do not notice anything. 30mgs in am after breakfast and another 30mgs after dinner.....1 gram of Choline am and pm following Noopept. I guess I did not kill enough brain cells from my alcohol abuse

    Don't increase your dosages.

The effect of Noopept does not lessen - you are just now used to operating at a heightened level of cognitive function, but you don't notice it. I've been on Noopept longer than anyone here, obviously, and i've noticed the same thing you describe BUT I know it is still actually working.

When my 3-month mark of Noopept has hit, I will go off it for 1 month and post updates in my log again as to what I experience when coming off, if there is any withdrawal, and then my experience on starting it back up again after 1 month of off time.

After my 3 month cycle is over, I might try 1 month on / 1 month off just to keep the noticeable change still there rather than letting myself get used to the feeling of it (which is what is happening to you and me).

No, the only data you'll find on doses exceeding 90mg daily is in the form of anecdotal evidence of people logging their experiences. Just before I end my current cycle of Noopept (April 16th is my end day), I might attempt some megadoses and see what it's like. A week prior to the end day, I will try going up to 90mg/day and then try to get to 120 or more mg/day but it won't be very long, maybe a few days before I stop.

I did find a study using more before. Normal studies are in the ball park of 20mgs to 90mgs.

Can you elaborate on the crazy part T-Dogg? Crazy as in awake and alert crazy, or some other experience? Thanks.

I'd like to see the study if you can find it again.

But i've said time and time again, the effect of Noopept might SEEEEEEM like it's wearing off, when in reality you have become used to your brain operating at a heightened cognitive function. Of course the total effects of Noopept will plateau at a certain point, after which if you want it to increase, you will have to increase your dose. Doing so will break the plateau, but up to a certain point of course. But there is no indication and no evidence at all anecdotally or clinically that Noopept's activity begins to fall after it plateaus. It will stay there.

You're just not noticing it as much. And neither am I.

Think of it like this, everyone has had the following experience: step into a pool. It feels really cold and you go "FVCK THIS IS COLD!!!". You then immerse yourself in it, stay in it for a bit, and then it doesn't feel as cold after the first 10 minutes or so. When you step out of the pool, you feel like going back inside because the pool actually feels warmer than you originally got into it!!! But my point here is: the temperature of the pool never changed, your perception of it did, and you became accustomed to it. Same thing with Noopept.

This is why I find it ridiculous when I scroll across some other forums where people are discussing Noopept and there is all this pseudoscientific babble and jargon about "receptors" and Noopept saturating "receptors", and that is why you need to cycle off of it, blah blah blah. You know what that is? Broscience. First of all, there is no evidence at all in studies that Noopept saturates receptors. Second of all, Noopept doesn't work that way!!! It is very important to understand that Noopept's mechanism of action is that of a pro-drug. NOOPEPT DOES NOT DO ANYTHING DIRECTLY. Its metabolites and Noopept's triggering the release of naturally manufactured nootropics in the brain are the active drugs that do the work. What this means is that the administration of Noopept seems to increase the concentration of an endogenous Nootropic in the nervous system known as Cyclo-L-prolylglycine(1).

It is just like HGH. HGH is a prohormone that triggers the release of IGF-1 from the liver, which is what exhibits the anabolic effects that too many people mistakenly give HGH all of the credit for. I explained all of this in my informational thread and it seems like people either didn't notice that description, or they forgot how Noopept works.

Oh, and as for the "happy" feeling and improved mood feeling of Noopept you claim to be wearing off? That could be from anything. Noopept isn't an SSRI, it isn't an anti-depressant. It's not going to keep you happy all the time forever. Situations change, things and events can make us sad or angry, and Noopept is not some magic drug that is going to make you feel happy for the rest of your life even if someone holds your family hostage and beheads every single one of them in front of you even if you happen to be on 200mg of injected Noopept at the moment, I guarantee you won't have an ear-to-ear smile on your face while that happens. An extreme example, I know, but I like giving examples like that for dramatic effect.

My point is, your brain and nervous system constantly undergoes a constant change and fluctuations of neurotransmitters such as Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin, and Norepinephrine. They can change because of an emotionally impacting experience, they can change because of AAS use, they can change because of a workout you did, they can change because of an adjustment in diet, or they can change for no reason at all. Noopept has no control over this.

If you're looking for something like that, well... there are lots of other drugs that do those things, many of which I can't mention here on the open board. But you know what I mean. Once again, too many people are expecting far too much out of Noopept. I knew this would happen, but I never thought it would be THIS bad.

A buddy of mine tried Noopept for the first time a day ago, and he said to me "WTF MAN I DIDNT FEEL SHIT WHEN I TOOK IT". I mean, come on. This isn't the movie Limitless...

Nothing bad. Basically a great well being. I was waking up fully alert. I felt like a young kid again.

To be honest, I still feel that way, and i'm like just shy of 2 months into it. I will say that the effect does feel lesser than when I started, but I can tell it is still there.

They don't, but I did contact AR-R , told them to look at my Noopept threads, and he/they PMed me back saying he/they will look into carrying it. It's so cheap and freely available I can't see why not.
