HELP! star wars Jango Fett
Im paintin jango Fett for my nephews 9th birthday gift (his fav charater) bu my sister says he likes all the Fetts and Green is his favorite color... so I google Fetts cuz i am not a star wars fan (im a trek)
anyway I am blocked utterly clueless as to what to do with this painting and I know its cuz 1. i have zero interest in it 2 i have no clue what im painting 3. its boring
so I need a back story or to know if there are symbols i can add to the uniform or something anything
i had some wine hoping for inspiration than some more... and some more and i got nothing (except a buzz)
any feed back info or imput please cuz i dont know what the h3ll to do with this lol

Very nice, I should have had you come help me with the step daughters room before they arrived.
Yes I did this on my own, all the ideas myself. It was a plain room with 4 bare walls so I added all the trim and crown molding, wall paper in the closet and painted the walls and ceiling. I even bought, tore apart, rebuilt the Chandler.
I think the only main thing it does not show is the mirrored sliding closet doors and all the other little Disney things I bought like a princess phone, lamps, clock etc.
Oh yeah did the new carpet, fancy door knob and I hand painted the dressers to match.
As for your nephey after you paint the new one for him ask him what other one he would like but manipulate him into saying it's the one you already painted. lol

lol, brilliant idea but i dont have time to start a new painting. the party is too close and i just dont have time to prime a new canvas 2x before i can paint on it with my very busy schedule (stupid acrylics of cheep-o canvas lol).... im looking more for ideas to throw on this painting or direction or some form of understanding of the character so i know what to do with him (action wise)

OK I see. I just did a google using Starwars Fett Family and then choose images instead of web and you should have a couple hundred examples.

Your paintings are very good. This is another example that women are creative and men buy gift cards. Lovbyts being an exception, of course.

WELL that was very nice f you to say ~ thanks
Im still unsure what type of gun to use but LB gave me some great examples, and after BIB gave me more info as to the actual name of the Fett I was able to google some pix of the armor and were to place the symbols on the armor
I can NOT wait till this weekend! I get together with other friend lady artist types ( jewelry makers/ pottery/ knitting and oil painters) and we all get tipsy in the garden laugh at each other and get all creative ~ anyway I cant wait cuz I plan on finishing this painting then
...than start my brothers baby shower gift painting

great!
...when can I expect it?
unless you think this scooter bum is driving all the way to NE from Cali?
...that would be one helluva expensive glass of wine!
Oh shit sexy...
..reminds me. There was a sale on wine yesterday at my grocery store, so I picked up the economy size (1.75 liters) and got two bottles. Like a dumb donkey, I put all the groceries in the trunk, because I still had to go to Costco and get more groceries. My army buddy calls me, whom I haven't spoken with in over ten years, so now I'm all distracted and not driving as if I have two bottles of wine in the trunk. I get to Costco, and discover one of the bottles has broken. Wine everywhere. Actually this happened two days ago, and so yesterday, the smell was pretty bad, so I took it to the car wash and washed out my trunk, then had to suck all the goo with the vacuum they have there.
anyways, just a dumb wine story, thought somehow it may have been relevant to the conversation, but now it just looks like i'm jibber jabbering....

just always artsy and love art decorating gardening anything that can be manipulated *muuuaaahahahaha*... used to do colored pencil drawings of super heroes (x men ) for my younger brother and his friends when i was young. I see something or have a clear pix in my head than I make it happen
I made a clay sculpture of a nude female, painted it with bronze crackle paint and put felt on its bottom for my parents anniversary gift years ago and every one loved it.. i was asked how i made it and a guest looked at me like I was a freak lol she was an artist and she said... so you didnt do a wire frame than put clay on? and you didnt prime it? so after talking to her apparently I did it 100% wrong lol but it was still incredible. from that day i always wanted to take art classes to learn all the short cuts / trix etc.
this semester i started a drawing 101 class for an elective and i was so pumped to learn new stuff! but its seriously a 101 class and its boring the h3ll outta me... all the trix and techniques just slow me down, but hay easy A
Long story short no self taught or from book or classes... i just do whats in me head
i just tried acrylic for the 1st time on the sleeping beauty and this is also acrylic, I would like to try oils. oils have a denominational look that i really like and could have fun figuring out
