at my last project, i took hundreds of pictures and posted them to a public website, like flashpoint, or some similar name. it's still out there. if you are interested, i can send or post a link. Additionally, i kept a blog called "Roman's Kabul Blog" from the first project, and it is here on this board if you care to search for it. i kept it current for over a year, and it is complete with links to pics in my photo album.

Do a bit of ice fishing. Lake trout and walleye. Lots of jackfish under there too.

I have entered a few ice fishing competitions so far this year. But this rain and warm weather slowed down the big lakes from icing over. Also on an interesting note. I did freezin for a reason this year you make a donation that goes to cure cancer and then in a big group every one runs and jumps into lake George . I hate the cold but enjoy testing my limits. And the money goes to a good cause.

Yeah I ice fish. Most all the fish (salmon, trout, steel-head) are packed in ice at our grocery story and I have to pick them up out of the ice before bagging it. Does that count?

One of my dad's favorite ice fishing story is that his buddy was ice fishing in a tent he set up on Lake Erie, around a bunch of other fishermen in their own tents. He took his dog with him, a chocolate lab. Whenever he caught a fish his dog loved to grab the fish as soon as he got them to the surface. But on this day, when he got a fish up to the surface his dog slipped through the hole and disappeared when trying to grab it. He waited and waited but his dog never found the hole again and he knew his dog had been down too long to be alive. But just then he heard another man scream from another tent! The dog popped his head up through another fisherman's ice hole in his tent. He ran over and they had to chip more ice away to get the dog out, but he was fine. But the guy who had the dog pop up through his hole was scared to death. He said he was just sitting there and this head came up out of the hole and of course scared the crap out of him. Lol.
