    Memorial Day

Being a Vet I want to thank every Vet on this site and every person that paid the ultimate price for defending our freedom. I miss a few dear military brothers that did not make it back home. I hope most people on here remember why we celebrate this weekend and day. Its not just a day off or a sale weekend. So if you have a friend or a family member that paid with their life, make sure you thank them.

we have a park here in our neighborhood. big memorial celebration. jet's doing a fly by is cool. they have a vet wall with names, and thousands of wooden crosses staked in the grass, one for each name.

It's easy for people to disconnect when seeing the crosses. But I pause, because I know. Each one died for their country, and to be honest, most were not an easy death. Some can be horrendous. But that is the price paid for our freedom.

    How quickly many forget......
.......and how quickly many take their freedom for granted.

We all have a debt to these soldiers who gave so much........
    .........let us not forget!

Thank you Vets, those of you who saw action and those who did not. You all did a part to serve and support our way of life. Most of us still believe and want to maintain those freedoms while a few dont but if they didnt have the freedom to disagree they surely would be crying the loudest still.

My respect and gratitude goes out to all the men and women who served, are serving, and of course to the families that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Not just on Memorial day, but every day.

    Thank you.

Much respect for those who served and are serving! Freedom is a privilege I enjoy thanks to active duty, veterans,MIA and those who served bravely.

Shout out to charities that honor our military in a meaningful way. If you have on your heart to make a donation, look closely at the profiles of non profit organizations. Not every charity was doing the most with my hard earned $$$. Wounded warriors is now one of my favorites!

Please do not ever give me thanks for my service. ...I survived. ....millions of my brothers and sisters did not in their time of war and grief. ..I deserve no thanks as they deserve all of it ...Their blank check of life was checked and cashed......Thank them...Please

I asked random people if they knew the difference between Memorial day and Veterans day. Very disheartening to know that the majority had no idea.

    Here's to the fallen.

Thanks to all who have served for our freedom!

Wish our country did more for those who have served, instead of taking care of politicians.
