whats up guys, quick question. About 2 weeks ago i took a baseball hard to my leg right above my shin. It immediately swelled up almost to the point of a baseball but then subsided some. After 2 weeks i still have a decent size lump on my leg and it shows no signs of getting any smaller. Is that a deep tissue bruise or something? Does anyone know how long until it goes away?
It's gonna be there for awhile yet. You bruised the bone and that takes awhile for the swelling and discolorization to go away. Also sorry to hear cause that shit hurts like hell.
hey nj...yep, you'll be sportin that for awhile. I nailed my shin back in february, i've still got discoloration but finally the lump is startin to go away :)

Thanks big texan and kc. I was really starting to worry about this. Sux that this is gonna be hear for awhile, and yeah it really hurts like hell, although there is no discoloration like you mentioned.

Bro the lump and bruise will be there for a while. I had my lump for atleast 3 months before it went away maybe even longer. Til this day there is still a slight discoloration to the skin if you look close enough. It sucks doesn't it makes you not want to wear shorts. Where do you play ball?
