    Mr. Hyde ****ed me over

    So I went to good old GNC today. Nothing out of the ordinary, just wanted to grab some muscle milk and such. I walk in the store and start talking to these two Arab employees(not the fact that their race means anything, but why leave it out). Then I stupidly ask one of these A$$holes for a recommendation for a preworkout. He's says "Mr. Hyde" is his favorite. Little did I know I might as well have gone to the west side of town, bought some rocks, and smoked that before my workout instead. Now I have had some powerful pre-workouts in my life(everything from assault, C4, to the old formula of jak3d), but this was different. I took one scoop of this stuff and went to the gym thinking it was going to be a normal Sunday afternoon lift; then it hit me. It started when I was riding the bike to warmup. I sat there for what felt like 2 minutes staring at Megan Kelly's erotic lips on the TV in front of me. I reach to grab my water bottle and look at my phone, realizing that 20 minutes have past. "that's weird". I go through first set of arms, rows, decline, and it feels like I'm flying through, I begin to realize that it's not hard to lift anymore, and I suddenly get angry that everybody is sitting around. If these fatties want to lose weight, they are going to have to start moving faster. I finally finish, get in the car ready to go.I drive like Agent Smith from the matrix was after me. Get home, go in my room(deadbolt door) and look at way, way, way too much porn that was way, way, way too kinky for me for way way too long. I come out of my room 6 hours later, shower, eat dinner, go back and watch bad boys 1 and 2. It is now 1:30 am. I have work at 6 am. My mind is still cranking from Mr. Hyde. No end in sight, no sleep in sight. ****.

    The first one I had to read 3x before moving on and realizing you were being facetious.

    Are you sure about that, I mean is there really such a thing as too much, too long or too kinky? I mean whats wrong with a little midget porn with barnyard animals once in a while? We all need a little variety now and then.

    I use a scoop and a half every workout, guess you are sensitive to caffine, cause that is really the only stimulant in there.

    I use a scoop and a half as well. I never have an issue getting to sleep either

    there's always the possibility it was spiked with amphetamines/ baths salts or something like that maybe not the case with a well know brand but who knows if that arab guy didn't do it. iv had protein powders from optimum nutrition that didn't weigh right I buy a 2 lb tub and only got a little over a lb inside I know the shady store I got it from had something to do with it

    Mr. Hyde isn't exactly that strong of a preworkout. I've been lately going around, like a drug fiend, securing jars of Jack'd Up (a clone of original Jack3d) and using that stuff. Now if you want something strong try that.

    Mr. Hyde I guess is okay, there aren't too many good choices around anymore. None of these are going to make you feel like you're on crack. In fact, I've taken a nap before after taking a couple scoops of Hyde.

    That's been one of the big concerns with vitamin manufactures because there is not regulations at this time and I personally dont want any and hope that customer support will weed out the shady brands. You never know how much of what is really put into them. I think it was bigger faster stronger that showed how some of the vitamin manufactures are nothing more than some guy mixing everything at the kitchen table. Scary.

    Yeah, but I doubt too many supplement makers are using his method though. Even for a small-time operation, his production method there would be too inefficient to be worth the effort. Besides, you can hire supplement manufacturers to make whatever recipe you want under your own label. Places like GNC do that all the time with their generic labels.

    I've had similar experiences before. I was being stupid and wasting money on supps. Had a pre work out, then a multi vita pack thing, apparently one of the pills was also a stimulant. Took the recommended starting doses. I felt like garbage and was awake for two days. Ditched the stim pill that screwed me over, and the pre work out still made me nauseous, and didn't improve performance.

    But that is my body, I never get the good effects from a lot of things, like pain killers offer no relief until you jack up the dose or combine with something else, and always make me throw up. Even straight caffeine made me vomit for 7 hours until I took a pill to counter it, and that was the first time I really felt caffeine's effects, but that only lasted briefly before I was dying in the bathroom the rest of the day.

    I just stay away from anything anymore. I know there can be benefits to some of these products, and would especially like to utilize caffeine during competitions, but not sure the risk is worth it. Currently I drink diet mtn dew for it's ability to help me get through the day while I'm keeping my cals low. But it isn't enough to provide much benefit unless I drink a couple 44 oz and a few cans, and I don't dare start taking the powder again.

    This is why I prefer to make my own pre workout out of bulk powders, I know what's in it and I get exactly the dose I want.

    I dont see anyone putting $$ worth of amphetamines into a tub of Mr Hyde and price it the same just to get someone to come into their store to make them lose money.

    That would be like giving away winning lottery tickets just to make you come to the store to buy winning lottery tickets. See how that could be considered a bad business model?

    I doubt it was anything, but him having a reaction from the ridiculous amount of (419mg) of caffeine from the mr Hyde.

    I wouldn't count it out completely sup companies have been caught putting bathsalts in supps which can be synthetic meth or coke and they are cheap as dirt especially in china not saying that's what it is but its been done before

    I only need enuff caffeine to get me to the gym. Once there I am fine. It's just to bridge that gap between work and workout.

    Yeah I'm not sure why the hell anyone would need 400 mg or more of caffeine. Seems a little much.

    Nobody starts at 400mg+ of caffeine. You work in to it. Eventually, even that stops being enough and you're taking more than the directions say. I'm at that point where I can't get that alertness and focus without drinking a coffee prior to using a preworkout that has DMAA in it (which are hard to find now, but without the DMAA, I just don't get that same focus).

    One scoop of c4 is good for me..... I don't take caffeine by itself. I love beta alanine tho

    Im back on the junk again. Just finished an old jacked3 and going to get some GameDay as a replacement. Its definitely effecting my sleep.

    I definitely try to give it a break if I do use it. Only use it on workout days and even then only when a cup of coffee or some brief warm ups won't get me moving.

    These predate mostly psychological in getting you to the gym. Try only using it on leg or back days and skip the days where it is easier for you to get through it. Otherwise you will be up to triple dose and taking a 200mg caffeine tab on top of it. Not good.

    I've tried H3yd3, jacked, bullnox, etc.. non of them work for me. C4 when I took it the first time always put some pep in my step. after a while nothing worked for me. I have evolved beyond. Mibolerone anyone?
