    Question Athletic Shoes

The deal is, I have my cool looking Nike for two and a half years now, I bought them when I was only 15, now Im 18, so my feet have grown a little bit, and my Nike dont look so new although they are still in a great condtition. I have diffrent boots and "going out" shoes, but now I need some stylish atheletic shoes, what the "In" thing out there now?

I didnt mean it that way "In", just something stylish I like...I never head a pair of NB because I was never fond of them, just the way they look, although I have heard that they are very comftroble...

Personally, I don't care for what's in and what's not. I simply go for whatever is comfortable when I wear them and how valuable they are while I'm training. Besides (and this I once pointed out to a coworker with $250 Jordans), what's in today will truly lose its value in a few months. Those $250 Jordans will be sold for $49.95 in 3 or 4 months from now.

For that reason, I am still wearing the Brooks that I've had for about 2 years now. A year ago, I replaced them with a pair of New Balance but those have since worn down. When I turned back to the Brooks, I realized that they weren't even worn at all as the New Balance were.

So Tolinka, I would advise you to go with what feels comfortable for you when you're wearing them and/or working out in them.

I only have two shoe styles i like. If you want style get the new ADIDAS ROD LAVER or the Classic STAN SMITH. I love the stan smith shoe style. Classic OG white. hehe i had to take a pic, i just bought a new pair. Remember to get FAT LACES

    I also gets whats comfy...

Last pair I bought, I just went to the sports shoe store, tried almost every pair on display and then decided on one pair. Salesman was going insane.

Neither price nor look were taken into consideration... the only thing I was thinking about was "are my feet going to be comfy running every god damm day on the threadmill with these things on".

    Ends up they did

i'm a loyal saucony girl, i've worn them for the last 4 years for running, training and everything in between. Like any brand they have quality levels so be sure to get quality. Good luck!

Would you take a styling tip from a guy who thinks a band-aid on his face is sexy?

LOL....Very good point. I HATE the band-aid thing.

I would say just skip what is "cool" or the current rage, and get whatever the heck you like. Just take into consideration what you will be using them for; running, lifting, cardio equipment, running on trails, on pavement, etc. Sometimes you need to get more than one kind of shoe if you are into alot of different things. I have REALLY bad knees and New Balance and Nike both make shoes that make me feel like I am on air. I know this is hard to do, but try to forget about price, let your comfort be your guide!

I dont care much for whats "In" or not, I was just joking there. Whenever I look for shoes, I look for comfort and looks...I was thinking getting this type of Adidas or something like that, I aslo spotted some really nice Kswiss shoes...

one more thing, i dont think i will ever shop in Nike again. After reading about them and how they operate in thirwd wolrd countries employing 14 yeard olds 2$ a day and giving out contracts worth of 90$ million dollars a to a guy 18 years old, I think it would be wrong of me to support such a company.

whenever I buy shoes at like foot locker or finish line I always ask whoever is working if they can give me some kind of a discount. all employees get a pretty decent cut on shoes and most of the time they help me out... try it out, it usually works

I'm like saucony, just get extreme comfort with a lil bit of style. You'll know it when you put it on.
