UFC FIGHT NIGHT 107 FREE Is in London today. This is an early event, prelims stat at 1pm eastern and main card at 5. This I will dvr while Im at the gym and be able to fast forward through tonight EDIT: This is only on UFC Fight Pass

    UFC 210 Next PPV
UFC 210: Cormier vs. Johnson 2

This is pretty close to me, 4-5 hours. I looked up ticket prices and hotel, showed my wife the total and got the thumbs down I screwed up and missed the Holms fight last month in Brooklyn, tickets were cheap and only an hour away. But it seems since NY has ok'd finally sanctioned events they are going to be holding them here pretty regularly so I should be able to get to some soon.

UFC 210- This should be a good card. Cormier/Johnson was a very good fight the first time. Johnson gave up at the end, but he got worked hard, Cromier always surprises me, he steps up everytime and shuts up his critics (which he has many). Weidman/Mousasi is interesting, Im a huge Weidman fan, he's live about 40 mins from me, good old Strong Island bad boy but I think his weight class has evolved around him. It I feel is the weakest weight class for some time now, some bad ass guys but not at the level as the lower weight classes. Alves/Cote should be good, 2 tough guys but I feel Alves time has come and gone and Cote is still fighting at a high level.

Am I going to pay for this card.....probably not. I will watch free prelims at 8 pm.

I really liked Fedor in his prime. What to you think about Him fighting in Bellator? I am interested to see Rampage vs King Mo too..... I really liked Anderson in his prime when he was hungry. The Two fights against Franklin were his best....

I never looked so forward to someone fighting then Fedor, well Wandy also, Shogun.......haha well all the Pride cards Fedor fights were always as good as they could be, he gave 100% and left it all there, no just trying to "win" a fight by decision. Im glad he's still fighting and Im glad they are getting good fights for him. I liked the way Pride paired up the older fighter with guys their age/caliber. I was never a Spider fan, I was SO happy when Weidman ko'd him, Anderson was just a little bit ahead of his time and the guys he fought just weren't that good imo. I was also a Franklin fan

I was never really an Anderson fan either but Chris Weidman has been struggling too. He should find his way. Bisping vs gsp will be interesting but I don't think gsp has a choice. The 170 class has fighters that are to big for him now. Be interesting to see how much bigger he is then gsp. Gsp in his day had some great fights too but got boring at the end of his career. He started fighting not to loose

Agreed with GSP, it the same with Aldo now, so talented but his fights suck so bad. I used to be a big fan of his but now I want to see him lose....and lose bad. You think the guys are bigger at 170 then 185? Definitely much more well rounded for sure.

OK so I watched the fight night in London, very good card.

Jimi Manuwa def. Corey Anderson: Man Manuwa just stalked Anderson and 1st round knocked him out with a left hook. This guy is serious, future champ for sure. Him vs Rumble would be incredible match up.

Gunnar Nelson def. Alan Jouban :Gunner came out real confident, I really like his karate style, I always like that type of fighting. Looking forward to him fight the top three in his weight, strong contender.

Marlon Vera def. Brad Pickett: Sad fight, it was Picketts final fight and he got ko'd, I honestly felt bad for him.

Arnold Allen def. Makwan Amirkhani: Very good fight, best of the night and best Ive seen in a little while. Very good technique from both guys, great grappling exchanges with lots of submission trys and escapes. Fun fight.

I dont think all of the guys are bigger but look at it this way. Woodly is way to powerful for GSP to fight and his chances are better vs Bisping. What do you think?

Great story behind Champ Cody Garbrant who just beat Dom Cruz for the title, Cruz had not lost in a decade before that fight.

Yes you are right, his chances are better but not by to much. I honestly feel as weird as this sounds Bisping is at his peak/best right now. But 170 is a much tougher weight class then 185. You think GSP will do well? None of the others have, look Penn just got a beat down, I think comebacks are impossible these day if you have taken long amount of time off. The sport just evolves way to fast. Did GSP want a title fight or did Dana force him? I think Dana said you left as a champion you come back and fight one. I love how he doesnt give in to these guys. Im going to look it up.

I think Bisping will KO him if it stays on the feet. The only Chance GSP has is to try for a take down and use his wrestling. Not to mention GSP cannot take a punch

I totally forgot about GSP not being able to take a punch and now he's older, everyone knows the chin goes with age. Now Im pretty interested in his come back, maybe I will get to see him get ko'd.....Ive always thought he was a wimp

Did you see the fight where he hurt his knee, he went back to the corner and was crying about it ? Greg Jackson told to him to not worry about that and go fight (or something like that, it was better)

Yeah i remember that. I fully expect GSP to try to close the distance and stay away from boxing with Bisping but you are right Bisping is at his best right now and Gsp doesn't have the power to KO him. Once these guy's retire you do not see to many make decent come backs. Cruz did ok but i have never liked his fight style or thought he was very good. He just has great cardio

Yes but Cruz never retired did he? He was just injured I think he always knew he was going to comeback. If you retire in your head your done and your body follows. Pluys I dont think Dom was at the end of his career, he was peaked. GSP was peaked and on the down slide, plus he was a cunt, never very tough lmao!

Correct Cruz was injured but had a very long recovery or Lay off

His comeback fight with TJ was incredible, I think Cruz at his best. I think Dillashaw brought that out of Cruz because he didnt have that movement against Garbrant.

Always figured he would do even better boxing than in the octagon. He is a dead on striker with plenty of endurance. Just hope he doesnt fuck up and tjrow an arm bar on some poor bastard.

I bet it will be hard to not kick or knee. Thing is, if he does box for a while I dont think he will be able to come back and be as good in mma. I mean maybe his striking will be better? I doubt it and with those big boxing gloves you dont have to move as much because you are able to take more of them so his foot work may get sloppy. If he does box I hope its soon, I think they should have had their child by now so it would be nice to see him back in action.

Boxing entails a lot more head hits with not near the impact of mma. I would say you are probably right. He comes back he might forget what having to continue after a real knock is like.

It will definitely will be very interesting. He was at Madison Square garden at a boxing event. Time will tell. I guess he's going to give up both belts. I have to look into that Im not sure.

Damn, I had no idea mcgregor was so cocky! I been out of the scene for too many years just peeking in. I have a feeling I couldnt walk past that guy without wanting to take him to the ground! I thought he was a lot less prideful and rude...

I havent been seriously into ufc since matt hughes prime. He was my guy! I was very dissapointed when St. Pierre took his title.

The thing I liked about him was he would always stay genuine and humble and he could take an ass beating for eternity and keep going.

I dont know very many names on the scene now, I need to pay more attention.

There never was really a bad fight in Pride. There was some classic fights back then. Fedor,no matter who he fought, was always cool and collected. He was the best of the best in my opinion. I looked forward to them all. Dan Henderson, Wanderlei, and "I'm drawing a blank"...the guy who's sister was murdered in Brazil. This is driving me nuts! And Royce Gracie

If I had to pick an all time favorite fighter it would be Coture without a doubt. When he was done though he was done.

Yes he is as cocky as it gets. He's backed up all his claims so far but right now he has two real tough guys that want that belt and they are the "new breed" at this time. McGregor has beat many very good fighter but these two are the future, one who has a VERY nasty ground game that if he gets a hold of Conner he's in deep shit. IM thinking Conner may realize this and is making an exit by boxing, but we will see. I wouldn't be shocked if we never see him fight in the UFC again.

Its not the same anymore, I kinda liked the old times because the fighters were better people but these guys are so skilled today that if your into the technical aspect its real fun to watch sometimes.

Yes Pride was incredible and always worth watching. The match ups were great, the different nationalities and the teams were really teams back then. Plus the crowd actually appreciated what the fighters were doing and respected them all.

I agree. I went to mma classes and learned very quickly to be humble because everyone loses at some point.

    Inevitable.

I'm very intrigued by the Mayweather fight. I think mayweather will probably kill him. But I would take a beating for 100m

He took a lot bombs........a whole shit load! He is very tough and will be a top contender for sure. I'm very impressed with cub Swanson super tough, gas tank was huge, he kept fighting hard the whole time and adapted to Choi's offense very well. He took some big shots also.

Have you watched Conners fights? May weather picks guys apart, with those big gloves that's going to feel like a girl punching. Watch how many shots Conner took vs Diaz, Mayweather can't give a beating like that. Then Conner will chase him down and I guarantee Mayweather has never been hit as hard as Conner punches, I think Conner will ok him. It will be interesting I just not sure how I feel about the way Conner is going about it with the UFC. I do and I don't.
