    Stick with 10 g carb for 1 iu of slin Obs until you have run it longer. Much longer. Better safe than in a coma. And you have a physical job. You don’t want to be 60 ft up a tree and be wishing you’d had more carbs.

    best way to do it. gotta know what your body is doing and how your responding and nothing easier then to test blood sugar.

    on a side note , to put it in perspective , your liver alone has more then enough glucose stored to keep you from ever going into a coma from 5iu of insulin . if you get too low blood sugar your body will start pulling glucose from stored sources to survive.
    theres guys taking 150iu of slin per day and feeding the insulin with carbs . thats ridiculous sure. but my point is experimenting with 5-10iu with consuming carbs is very reasonable

    yeah you wouldn't ever need to . you'll just strip your body of potassium* (and hypokalemia can kill you faster then hypoglycemia by causing your heart to just stop after going A-fib). 20iu is about max at a time, your body can only uptake so much glucose and amino acids in a time window. now granite adding things like Tren will help you uptake even more nutrients then you can now , but still 20iu max is really most you'd need to get the benefit .

    * edit. and you should probably start supplementing with potassium . refueling yourself with carbs is easy , not so with potassium (insulin uses potassium out of the blood to open up cells for nutrient delivery , and when it does this the potassium is then stripped from the blood and hypokalemia can occur)
