Going good, knee is the knee. Not terrible but not 100%. But I don't think it ever will be again. Got some hiit scheduled for tonight, need to drop a few more pounds of BF and I will be happy...lol

Man, had a killer HIIT workout tonight. I got my heart rate over my predicted max for my age, which is awesome. Felt good to push myself, knee actually cooperated with me. Had a lot of built up stress I needed to burn off. I'm going to sleep like a dead man tonight.

Another killer HIIT session tonight, I was still fairly sore from Tuesday's session.
Yesterday I was very sore, so I did light upper body and went for a light jog to help with the soreness and tightness. I will be back to my normal Friday Saturday Sunday weights routine after a couple weeks of travel and such. I hate getting out of a routine but it happens in life sometimes. I have been pretty strict with diet while my workouts have been in flux and have actually dropped a few lbs which is actually kinda nice. But overall my shoulders and back look thicker; I think it's because I'm getting more of my normal V taper back vs being a fatty like had been lol

Got to put in two workouts into one today. Not ideal, but since I put in my resignation at work the place is in chaos. So I am going to do a push pull style workout. Will be great for pump, but will be a longer session.

Wow, brutal workout. Had to get my back and chest days all in on one day. So as above I did a push pull. I added in some light legs and abs so that I could super set those in with my push pull scheme. I kept my heart rate up very high the entire workout. I was getting it up to 160-180bpm at some points and keeping it there. Good thing I train HIIT regularly cause I was really pushing it.

For example, I did upright rows, straight into incline press then straight into walking lunges typically 30 total. Then straight back into upright rows. I went pretty heavy on all weights, and was just pouring sweat like I was on a hard run. Towards the end of my workout as I did more accessory lifts and was gasing out I dropped the lunges and just did standard super sets. Still had my heart rate fairly highly at about 120 ish bpm. Total workout time was nearly 2 hours. I am very dead right now. But all felt good, knee was good, elbow was good. Burned off much needed amounts of stress.

Have Orange Theory tomorrow, looking forward to that and burning some calories.

Very stoked, this was my first complete leg day in over 2 years. No pain, not tightness, no cramping and no giving out feeling in my knee. I was even able to squat with ZERO pain!

I feel like I turned a corner, finally...

Healing well actually. Light dumbell curls 3X PW right now. Will slowly ramp the weight up. Emphasis on slowly. Otherwise training is same as always.

    Good to hear guys!

Yesterday was my rest day and I needed it. I was so sore. I was cramping in my legs pretty bad at orange theory tonight while running. The leg workout on Sunday I did was pretty bad ass. My legs were like WTF did you do to us...

I fell really good now even though I'm tired, a lot of that soreness in my legs and back worked out. Tomorrow will be another Orange theory HIIT workout then Friday night will be back and Bi's.

So I got a wild hair up my butt and went and watched a local NPC show over the weekend. Kinda been kicking around a run at a classic physique show in the future. Boy am I glad I did, I was amazed at the physiques that the classics have. After seeing that, I Have came to the realization that I would be maybe 2 years away from being able to compete and not embarrass myself. My upper body wouldn't be far off and maybe I could do a physique show but that idea kinda bores me since I've done a number of those. With the knee injury, I lost so much hard earned mass. I have good upper quad development and hamstring size so my sweep looks good. But my front pose absolutely sucks since my lateral quads attach so high up my legs. Idk though, decisions decision. Maybe I will just bulk and see what happens

I talked with several competitors afterwards and kinda asked advice to guys my size about their weight coming in. For my height range, my weight limit would be 215. Most of the guys that size didn't gain back much weight come showtime. My worry was that they cut down from say 230-235 on wiegh in and by showtime rehydrate. But most guys said that they cut water and stay about thier weighin weight come show time.

Even though it was somewhat deflating it was also very motivating. I went home and killed two workouts.

I enjoy going to area shows. Always motivational for me. I normally only go to pre-judging which is what I did this weekend at a show in my area. Went to see a buddy compete. He did well.

Yes going to shows is great motivation. Now with physique becoming so big there's a bunch of younger guys and 2 girls competing in my gym so now I can't let up. It's unbelievable how many young kids are competing, there's two brothers 18/21 on my job that compete, the 18 year old just did 2 shows and the 21 year old is competing this Saturday, it's growing at an incredible rate.

The addition of all the different classes in both men and women's catagories has pretty much saved modern bodybuilding. Physique in men and bikini and figure in women opened up a whole new door to people able to compete.

Welp, skipped two workouts. Since I put my notice in at work. The fucking rats started jumping ship. One staff doc resigned immediately and another decided to move back their start date on their own. Plus two admin staff are flaking out big time. The owners suck and the staff knows it, so my last two weeks have been busy as hell keeping it together. I start my new gig/life in 2 weeks. I can't wait. Today was so busy and I had to put out fires and keep patients happy. I came home with the intention of doing a back workout. Instead I took two shots of crown and turned on some tv...

Don't worry about the skipped workouts. Get your job in order. Money over everything. Let's us know how everything goes. Don't make any excuses though, that's not a reason to skip the gym mf. Get big dammit I command you to grow!!

His gym is just about 10 min from where I live here in Miami. Have yet to make it in there. Probably cause I'm a bit scared and there was a big bust out of that gym. Don't really need to be associated with Rec drug and such that supposedly went down.

Bro, that was wellnessfitnessnutirion. I heard iron addicts gym got popped with them. Is that true? I can't believe CT had anything to do with them. They were legit while they lasted...

Yeah, it was big news down here. CT claims he was not apart of it all. But they had Ferraris, lambos and Porsches outside that place all the time. Looked like a damn exotic car show. So it makes it hard not to jump to conclusions.

Wow I'm amazed. I can't believe that lasted that long anyhow. I also can't belive CT would have anything to do with them anyhow. Still amazes me how Mike Rashid, Flex and many others were backing that company.

Agreed, I think that if your a top level competitor like that. You take
Whatever endorsement you can get. To get the physique it takes to be on top
It's it's own full time job. So making money inside bodybuilding is key.

True. Rodriguez will be behind bars a long time! I really liked his company. Maybe he will make a come back one day.
