    Unhappy Math People! (Formula Problem)

I just posted the same question the education thread...but this area gets more traffic.

    E (greek letter "sigma") 500*e^(ln(1/2)n/1.5) from n=0 to n=6.
    So 6 = 1300

    So I try it...

    500*e^(ln(1/2)n/1.5)
    500*e^(ln(0.5)6/1.5)
    500*e^(-.6931*6/1.5)
    500*e^(-2.7724)
    500*0.0625
    31.26

    WTF!!

Man I didn't think it was that long ago that I had to use a natural logarithm.

can you be clearer on where exactly you are finding a problem completing this sum? im not even sure what the problem is asking for. it appears to be just a simple sum of an equation from n=o to n=6. meaning you would have to plug in each integer n value between 0 and 6 (1,2,3,4,5,6). then add the results of each substitution together.

does the problem say sigma = 500*e^(ln(1/2)n/1.5) from n=0 to n=6

or is there a sigma in front of 500*e^(ln(1/2)n/1.5) from n=0 to n=6.

i can help ya bro, lets just clear this up some.

Fuck I knew it! I should have summed them up. The formula did say sigma...and I over looked it. I summed 0-6 and it worked. Thanks bro.

Man I stopped taking math once numbers turned into letters....what kind of bullshit is that? Does our alphabet have numbers in it too?

yeah the classic sigma sign is for the sum over all integers given by n= whatever (on the bottom of sigma) to the n value on on top of the sigma. cool that it worked though. why did u have to solve that anyways?

Check out the link. I want to check my blood levels. I will still have close to 600mg of test enanthate ester in my body when I will start on clomid. Basing it on 500mg and 2 week absorption. Makes me think.
