I just drink it all day long. I carry a 1 gallon jug with me everywhere I go. On average, I'm at 1.5 but everyonce in a while I get a tea bug and chug too much of that in place of water when I'm home watching fox news

Careful with the tea there Pheedno, too much can lead to kidney stones. Of course not for everyone but it happened to me. Kidney stones suck a$$ something big.

Yeah. a buddy of mine jussed pissed his out. Allthough all he drinks and eats is coke and bigmacs.

My water intake is pretty much covered even during the days I drink a lot of tea. When tea is craved, it's usually during my TV watching time-Oriely Factor through Hannity and Colmes

Your buddy sounds like my brother, all he drinks (well used to drink) was cokes. He goes into the doc for a check up and when he had them a sample, the doc takes one look at it and asks "do you drink ANY water at all"? He told him if he didn't start drinking water he was garanteed to get one. After he saw what I went through he change his ways the next day.

Bro, I'd drink four gallons a day to keep from ever getting one of those bastards again. I feel for your buddy.

Question for you bro's; do you drink your water cold or at room temp? I can't drink as much when it's cold so I like mine room temp. Just curious

I drink mine straight out of the faucet, no ice, no cooling.

Not surprising there Pheedno, any dude who eats a peanut butter tuna sandwich hasn't time to mess around with ice cubes.

Glad to hear that though, all my freinds in the gym think I'm off my rocker drinking luke warm water.

My friends are like that too, but they don't drink near enough water. Their as disillusioned about their water intake as they are with their calorie consumption and training intensity

Is drinking gallons of water each not hard on your kidneys? It has to be.

It cleanses them out of all the nutrients that are processed. Mind you, I've never had a Creatinine level below 1.2 but I expect that with so much protein consumption.

Untill you drink so much that hyper-hydration is a concern, the more the better.

My bro used to work in youth corrections and he said that hardcore addicts would stick their heads in toilets and drink as much water as possible before being caught. I guess they would somehow mess up their electrolytes and they would be on a sort of high.

Well, for one thing, I'm 6'6" and 300lbs. Plus, I consume 500 or so grams of protein a day, so I figure my kidneys need the H2O to keep them filtering. It's rare for me to be without water. I get cottonmouth if I go more than 30 minutes or so with out a little water. My body is just used to it. And yes, my plumbing works pretty darn good!

Not really a way to nail that down specifically. It would be so individualistic for each person that no diffinitive amount could be derrived.

I'd say you just need to be conscious about your size in comparison to consumption. A person 5'9 and 135 shouldn't be consuming 3 gallons of water, but for a person of Butchers stature, it's well within a safe range.

Another thing to consider is that hyperhydration is not always a dangerous condition. It's actually a frequent practice in athletes enduring compettions of high stamina such as triathalons
