    Sorry, thats an urban legend...

If you look at the Canadian $2, you see a flat that LOOKS like the US flag at first glance... but if you look at it closely with a macroscope (or see the original plates at the Royal Canadian Mint musuem in Ottawa) you see clearly that it's the "Red Ensign" flag which at the time the Parliament is depicted on the money, was the official flag of canada.

This is what it looked like:

Basically a red flag with a union jack in the upper left corner.

The current "Maple Leaf" flag we use only became the official Canadian flag in 1965 btw...

Think about it kiddo, 2 died at your house. Now think of all the people in the world who own houses with windows. 10000 birds is really a small number.

kiddo lol i aint your freakin nephew! ok if two died just this summer at my house then that leaves at least one for the rest of the year. (note my window gets run into alot and it is not that big compared to my front large window). Im going to say this is a fluke and most houses kill 1 bird a year. considering there are millions of homes with windows this number has to be completely wrong. Somone pulled that number out of nowhere. I guess it is right in a sense "about" if "about" includes a couple million give or take a few.
