    Everyone's fav. Music!!!

    I have a question. What is your favorite music when working out? What really gets you pumped and going. I listen to alot of types of music therefore im looking for some new music to listen to while im lifting and running. Thanks~

    I usually do a mix some rock and tecno I might even put some country on it once in a while

    Bach or Handel. Maybe Vivaldi. No Mozart, Shostakovich, and for gods sake none of that Shoenburg crap!
    The Bach and Handel has lots of repeating melodic structures woven into it; you let your mind wrap around one phrase while you're doing one rep, then start on the next rep and let the next musical phrase help push ya along . . . works for me, anyway; the Brandenburg Concertos are terrific (especially #5--sounds just like a machine) . . . aside from that, (which they never play in my current gym), something else that seems to work pretty well is that bump-and-grunt disco-ish background music. It's hard to describe, but it gets the primal juices flowing, that's for sure . . .

    has to be heavy, can't listen to anything else while training......some days at my gym they play soft songs cant stand it, how can I do squats while listening to love songs....

    I don't listen to music. It isn't logical.
