Well AR.... this may be goodbye for awhile.

Well guys, I'm giving advance notice that I may be leaving the boards for an extended period of time. I'm not quite sure yet or not if I'll have time in the upcoming weeks and possibly months to post much if at all. All of you by now have read at least one of my whining posts about the problems I've been having at home. Well finally my wife has seen a specialist. He diagnosed her bi-polar, with early signs of schitzophrania (spelling). Anyways on the 11th she'll be entering a mental hospital for observation. The doc is taking her off all medication and putting her on some new ones. Also she's been labeled a threat to herself, having feelings of wanting to end her life along with being a threat to others. She's had thoughts of wanting to end other peoples lives as well. I'm not sure what the next few weeks even months hold in store for my family. I'm just glad that she is finally getting the help she needs. So for however long she'll be in the hospital, I'll be working, taking care of the house and kids myself, along with spending as much time as I can with her at the hospital. I may even give up the gym and any hopes of competeing any time soon to give her my full support during this time. I thank all of you for giving me a home here at AR and I will post whenever time allows. Hell things may workout better than I expect and may have more free time than I realize... if I do I'll keep posting and everyone can ignore this goodbye. If I don't have time, than so be it, but I will be back someday. I plan on posting as much as I can the next few days as if theyt may be my last. Again there are many of you that have given me kind words, or even offered a helping hand with all that is going on. I'm just ready to move onto the next stage and help my wife overcome her illness. Thank you all and I'll see you around.

Know of any trust worthy babysitters? I'm trying to find someone to watch the kids while I'm at work. If I can't I'll have to take Family Medical Leave. My mother can watch them a few hours, but not all day. I thank you all for the kind words and the support.

BT...I wish you and your family the best of luck. I appreciated your posts and thoughts...God Bless you and your family. Will and desire is what is going to get you through this...always hang your head high and move from one task to the other. From here on out it will be a daily battle....however, each day you wake up for those battles there will be happiness and sadness...most of all the love you recieve from your kids and family will superseed (sp) everything.

Take care buddy...hope to see you around soon!

Yeah I agree, it's going to be ok. For the first time in a long time, things look as if they are going to get better. Most of all I'm just glad my wife has finally realized she needs help and is willing to get it. I'll be around from time to time, but I know the next few weeks are going to be tough trying to get everything done. Thanks guys, and Palme I'm not to sure that DHL will ship kids either. Thanks for the offer though.

Like everyone has said, family first and do what you have to do. I'll certainly miss your presence and it looks like ripped4fsu may have to be the target of my regional discrimination for a while. Best of luck with everything.

    BT...you know whay they say:

what doesn't destroy you makes you stronger.

You're one strong sonnaofgun in my book already, and you know i'm not referring just to the gym. Good luck with all of it. Wish Texas wasn't such a big state sometimes so we all were closer and could help out somehow. Stay in touch when you can.

GOOD LUCK, and I'm sure everything will work out fine and your wife will receive the help she needs. I'm glad they found out what was wrong with her, and now you know that the problems you two were having were not either of your faults!!

Sorry to hear about your situation. I agree w/everyone else about the homefront being priority. Try to get in the gym though (if at all possible) at least for some short workouts. It will help to relieve stress.

Well buddy, I hope your wife's recovery is a speedy one which ultimately brings a better outcome for your entire family.
I have no experience in dealing with any of these problems that you face ahed, but I do feel that a happy outcome is attainable.
After the thread you posted about that pleasent time you and your wife shared recently, it seemed to me that the problems you were worried about had a healthy looking outlook for the future.
Now, those problems which you felt existed but didn't know exactly where they spawned, seemingly have been pin pointed and the healing process, however long, can now officially begin.

I hope the best for you Tex and if their is anything you need, just give me a shout.

I do think 150miles is a bit far to drive everyday to babysit though.

Guys... ya'll are some true friends. OG, Pheedno, CYC, all of you, I appreciate it.

Pheedno.... 150 miles isn't that far. Fine if you're gonna be that way I guess I'll chalk you off the list of candidates.

Nathan... you've been through this too.... well that explains most of your posts. Just playing bro, keep them coming.

OG... hell I may just have to call ya up and rant sometime. I know my strings are going to be pulled doing it all myself for the next few weeks. It's good to know there's bro's like you there if I need to talk.

Big Green, don't think that you can go wild with your comments just because I won't be here to put you in your place. I still plan on kicking a little booty in football. Just remember... I will be back and will take revenge for those that you pick on in my absence.

I seen this written today in the national paper. A quote from Martin Luther King that went, "If the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

I hate to post cheesy quotes but I think this one really applied to your situation. There is no doubt in my mind bro you will have any problems stepping up to the plate for your wife and kids. I really hope everything works out for the better for your fam.

However indirectly and anonymously it may be, I am better for being allowed to share some moments and thoughts with such a stand up guy. You're an inspiration to me and I can only hope that I would be able to work through such a situation as admirably as you are. Good luck to you bro.
