Having owned both....the Z28 should be a 14 second car....the Caddy should be a 15 second car. My money is one the maro.

My family owns auto repair shops and that has given me a chance to drive them both. I would take the Camaro in the race. This is opinion and not based on any actual times.

Oh, I love the new caddy....don't get me wrong...just would think the camaro would win. Also, being that it will be a close race, driver error would really effect the outcome......practice up...

0 - 60 looks like the z28 will win...But 1/4 mile looks like the STS-V wins..

Z28 manual or auto..... seems everything I look into a Z28's or SS's window, they are ALL auto..... kinda pisses me off.... but as stated above, I think it would come down to driver error...

Yes I didn't mention that the caddy wouldn't spin off the line as much.. That is true.. I will be very close. Almost to the point of who has the better gas..
He better go to Sunoco..

The new STS V would eat a 96 camaro z for lunch. You are talking about a very old camaro. But keep in mind you are comparing a 75k car with a car worth maybe 4-5 g's.
Noticed the sts is a 97 so that changes things. 97 would put it 3 body styles back and that was a large boat with less than 300 horses so the camaro wins easily. I wouldn't be racing any almost 10 year old cars unless you are ready for some hefty repair bills.
OG any info on the 06 DTS coming out? My 02 is getting old and tired and I need to ditch it before the repair bills come rolling in.
