how much do you pay for car insurance?

im 24 living in a good postcode/zip(ps bad ares get bad postcodes for car thieft)
the insurances prices in .northern ireland are the highest alot higher than england.
i have a 1.6 honda crx 150bhp insurance group 12(ps the groups are classed by bhp and it goes up to 20 then 20a/b/c/d,20 would be a subaru turbo ,20 d porche turbo etc)

4 years no claim bonus and pay £1000 for a year,so at least $1800

u"s americian will laugh at this cause most of youy prob have 5litre monsters and insurane them very cheap

when your 17/18 over hear most people pay 2/3thousand pounds for insurance on a 1litre car

I was paying $400 a month because I had 11 points. I decided it was too much and stopped paying it.

I am no longer walking come Monday. However I live in a civilized part of the world with trains and busses, so I actually wasn't walking.

I'm 35 with a clean driving record and pay a little over $1200 a year for the highest coverage this is on a $43k truck so it very cheap to insure.

I pay a grand a year, insured to the hilt. Never really thought about the price though as the GVT runs the **** auto insurance business in this province.

Naah I live in Quebec... no fault law here for driving which means one cannot sue someone else for a car accident. Your insurance pays for your dammages, mine pays for mine and the license bureau has a special insurance liability fund for uninsured victims (like a pedestrian being hit by a car).

The flip side is that our drivers license and car registration fees are more expensive because of this insurance fund.

License costs me $80 for 2 years and car registration costs me $200 a year.

Hey I like that car! I used to drive a Bronco 4x4, but I got tired of pumping in minimum $80 of gas a week.

I do miss my old truck, but the cavalier gets me from point A to point B and with a standard shift transmission it has a good feel to it... and best of all, I went from $80 a week in gas to $35 every 2 weeks so now I can afford fancy things... like food.

I also like that it's an American car... keeping jobs here.

Well they make American cars in Canada too

As well as China and Mexico, and Toyotas, Nissans, and Hondas (Japenese cars) are made in America, so go figure.

theres a lotof vauxhalls ,fords ,hondas a bit of everything but they are all like 1.2/1,6 litre a 2litre is considered a big powerfull engine over here.

you get the expensive ones like ferriari ,porche, bmw m3"s tvr etc but no americian cars.

I've seen a few American cars in the UK... some imported, some visitors.

In London I've seen 4 or 5 Dodge Caravans and a few Chevy Venture minivans (they had left hand drive and UK plates so I guess they were imported), also saw a few Cadillacs and big Lincoln Navigators.

The strangest I've seen was in the resort town of Skegness (yeah, I've been there ), I saw 2 nearly new Chevy Camaros with NewYork plates on them.

I guess if you can afford to have your 2 new camaros shipped to europe to visit, you can afford the gas for them over there.
