    The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding, worth the read?

    was wondering if Arnold Schwarzenegger's "The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding" is a good book to read? its 835 pages of reading, i'm lookin for a really comprehensive book... i skimmed through one section at borders and it spouted out some bullshit about steroids being stupid to use, when we all know he used them.. so it makes me skeptical on how "true" the book really is since he lied blatantly in it.

    if it's not a good book, any others you'd recommend?

    Yes, Dream, this book is worth the read. I have it and I enjoyed the anatomical diagrams of the muscles being worked and the specifics of each exercise. I didnt like Arnolds training splits that are in the book though. They seemed like they would overtrain someone quick or not give results very effectively. I did read the part you mention though about A.A.S. You got to remember bro, Arnold had to have the book published and he had to save some sort of his rep....
