I've read this elsewhere; I believe it is true; Silence of the Lambs is also loosely based on this same story.

Hell they even stated on the local news on how Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on actual events. They said that in Travis County Texas, police shot to death a man that was soon to be discovered that had killed and eaten people. They supposedly found shit loads of human remains on and in his property. Don't know how true it all is though.

Now if this doesn't make people see what little secrets Texas has to hide all tucked down there, i don't know what will! See, the "Massachusetts Chainsaw Massacre" just doesn't work, because everyone knows we're happy, non-massacring people. The same can't be said for Texas and perhaps maybe north dakota.

Hey, i figured if I broke my abstinence today, I may as well go for broke while on my binge.

He's the character Buffalo Bill (Silence of the Lambs), Norman Bates (Psycho), Leatherface (Chainsaw Massacre) and more have been based on. Get with the times.

Best Serial Killer Of All Times.....

    http://www.zodiackiller.com/

Terrorized San Franciso back in the 60's and 70's. Never been caught and extremely intelligent. Guy wrote cyphers to the cops talking trash and laughing how they will never catch him. Well they never did. They had suspects and couldn't pin it on anyone. He wrote to newspapers bragging about killings and was a bad ass serial killer.

Mudvayne wrote a song about Ed Gein. It's on their LD 50 CD......... very good song.

Cold and silent, soiled face I will wash it all away,
    With my love,
That's all she's ever needed, from me
    It's my time, to mother,
One of my own in my life,
I am so alone, left with no one
In my life, I'm so alone

    Life submissiveness,
Hypnotizing the ignorant a little boy's best friend's always his mother,
At least that's what she said,
    Life of a simple man,
Taught that everyone else is dirty,
    And their love is meaningless,
I'm just a soiled dirty boy,
I'm just a soiled dirty boy,

    Sheltered life innocence,
Insulated memories, spark reflections of my head,
    Duality in my consciousness,
Caught in the war of hemispheres,
Between the love lost in my head,
Mommy do you still live inside of me,
I'm so lost in my life without any guiding,
Protected me my whole life from everything,
Nailed shut the doors to the shrine,
To screen your dead eyes from me and my sickness,
Mutilate and sew my new clothes for masquerading,
Aprons of flesh corpse scalped hair with skin upon my face,

Deliver the remains from her womb of earth,
Prep the rack and tie up for new love's rebirth,
    Covert understanding of novice surgery,
I'll focus concentration and only take just what I need
    For sickness I'm masticating,
    Dancing and masturbating,
Celebrate in fields of night with skin upon my face

If I soak my hands in others blood am I sick,
If I wash my hands in others blood am I sick,
If I drench myself in others blood am I sick,
If I bathe myself in others blood

    Blame mother for the sickness,
Mutilate and sew my new clothes for masquerading,
Aprons of flesh corpse scalped hair with skin upon my face,
Dance and masturbate in night light by myself..

Nothing is left for me to gain they're coming to take me far away,

    Chorus

Life of a simple man taught that everyone else is dirty and love is meaningless
    I'm so soiled
    Soiled

I feel like I should add that Ed Gein was from Plainfield, WI. It's a little town here in Central, WI. I do find it creepy that 2 of the most notorious serial killers of all time are from my state. I blame it on the Packers never being consistent. Mark

This is by far the best quote about Ed Gein. From American Psycho (2000)

    ---------

Patrick Bateman: Do you know what Ed Gein said about women? "When I see a pretty girl walking down the street, I think two things. One part wants me to be real nice and sweet and treat her right."
David Van Patten: And what did the other part think?
Patrick Bateman: What her head would look like on a stick!

You guy's ever heard of Mr. X? I believe he was in Russia..............killed like 60 women in the span of twenty or thirty years.

Why can't we just take these sick bastards (after conviction of course) out back of the court house and place a hand gun to their skulls and finish what they apperantly couldn't just do themselves? Then send the bill for the bullet along with the body back to the family.......

It shows how bad the police and law works in eastern countrys of europe, they are so corrupt. But then again so is the west Nevermind!

I always thought that they should take people like this and other violent criminals and use them as a special kind of troops when we are at war. I mean if they get killed, who cares, they were probably on death row anyhow. If they take out a few of the enemy, that's good.
