Well, if you lie, expect a backlash. I don't want someone to get pissed off and ping our server until it shuts down or hack the board. The server can handle the traffic, but I would try to make it as legit as possible if I were you. I don't understand why you don't all just plan to do it when the Olympia is occuring. Start collecting pics and video, hit all of the boards, and drive everyone here. It works. This Olympia is going to be very controversial. It would not be hard to get people to visit just to look at the pics.

I agree, lying could cause some problems and lots of unwanted posts/hackers....Might be more of a problem than good. We already gotta deal with enough assholes making ignorant posts and starting threads that are a blatent disregard for rules...my .02
We should use the olympia and get mad people from everywhere....Set a goal of say 500

Look, here's the deal. If you want to break the record. Someone is going to have to organize something for the Olympia this weekend. I will promise you that if just a few of you get together and start collecting pics and posting live results and others start posting on other boards, the record will fall.

I will even go so far as to send out a mass e-mail whenever you would like to promote this event. I want to see the record fall too, but it has got to be a group effort for it to happen.
