Lets try to break a new AR record
The most members on at one time was 372 on 10-21-2002.........I was kind of hoping that we can all pick a date and time and smash that old record.................I would say October 20th around 9pm...........what works for you guys? ....Think the server could handle it Jason?

works for me..............but 372 is alot to beat..........probably have to post this in every forum

Yeah, the server can handle it. Go for it. But, pay attention to the date of the old record. That didn't just happen by chance.

I can write a perl script that can register say 10000 names and put them all online at once.... Just kidding, my l33t days are long gone, im way too lazy to even look at a script these days. Besides, I think i'd cry if anyone ever dos'd AR.

Just a thought, but if you are wanting to recruit other boards, you need an event. You do realize that the Olympia is this month, don't you? You could do the exact same thing that I did, but you could use a group to make it even better.

If you wanna cheat just have jason change the cookie timeout time to like 100000000 seconds in the admin panel, it'll list everyone that logged in that day as currently logged in.

LOL, there seems to be one problem with this. Everyone that replied to this thread is on all of the time anyway!
You have got to find a way to get people here that are not regulars to pull this off.
Bermich has the right idea. If something was going on for a short time period only, that everyone wanted to see, then traffic would be high. There has to be a sense of urgency.
bdtr, I can't change the time limit. I was able to help pull it off with the current time limit, if you want to break it you have to find another way to step it up. That's right, that's a challenge.
