Funny movie, too much blood though. Uma Therman shouldn't be the lead actress. She sucks. Ugly broad.

Quentin Tarrantino always writes the most stilted, artificial sounding dialogue. I swear, if I hear that "silly rabbit, tricks are for kids" line one more time I'm gonna go postal.

I liked it alot. It was great.

The fighting was well done, and becuase its Tarrantino, I would be willing to bet the blood gushing was supposed to be there. I found it funny more than anything which I assume is what he intended.

Its a shame you cant like this movie. A real shame.

Oh well, go see Eastwood's newest Mystic River.

It's a shame that Tarrrantino went overboard with the blood. At least he could have made it semi-realistic like Pulp Fiction.

I thought it was done pretty well. Tarantino is a huge martial arts film fan, so I htink that explains the blood. It was a cool effect, he had the money, I don't think he "skimped" on special effects. If you've seen Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction, you would see that the simple dialog and confusing parts actually make up the genius of the movie. RR

I admit that that particular line was a little stupid, but you have to admit that the opening dialog in Reservoir Dogs about Modonna and her big dick is pretty funny. RR

I could of told you that from just seeing the previews. With all the good movies coming out right now, why waste $$ on this piece of crap? Quentin Tarantino shouldn't have ruined his legacy.

Quentin Tarrantino always makes movies like that. He doesn't really make action movies, he makes action movies that make fun of action movies. I think all of his movies are like that. Even Pulp Fiction was like that. Stupid lines, but that movie had a decent plot. He just goes overboard with everything to show how movies of the gender he's poking fun of go overboard with things. The other movies just try to make it more believable.

You have to understand Terrantino.....My buddy who is a huge fan of his, said the movie was absolutely amazing. He simply loved it...Ebert loved it as well. I thought the preview looked sooo stupid, but the critics seem to like it as well....

I am going to see it!

The movie is done like that on purpose. He was trying to keep that B movie feel. I t is like a old kung fu/70's flick. He wasnt going for the 21'st century type of movie. If you dont like this movie then i guest you dont like most old kung fu flicks.

LOL, most people who watch this movie won't get or understand it and therefore think it sucks. NOTHING against anybody, (before I get flamed). You just have to be a bit of a cinephile to fully get what Tarantino is doing. He's paying an homage to all the old films he grew up on, Kung-fu flicks, Westerns, Anime, etc. He's a genius, not everybody will get or like him but that's part of being a genius.

I agree before there were Trident missiles and Bazooka joe leaders-there were ferocious Ninjas with rice stalked wrapped rat tails.
