Why do kids these days have to lie...
About what stuff they have. I had a kid today bring his car in the shop, and before we check it in we get a list of all the mods done to it ect for different reasons... He goes through a bunch including a set of racing seats... I go pull the car around and he has stock seats with these covers they sell at O'Rileys. I mean we could care less if they are stock seats or not but don't say you have something you dont, its not like he is not leaving his car at the shop for about a week... .
The other fun thing to deal with is this question: "my car has 300hp why am I only running 15 sec 1/4 times?" Well lets see, 1. Its a Deawoo, and 2 its no where near 300hp. Kids will believe anything they read on a package these days too...
Blah... off my soap box just having a rough day...

I got an OBX exhaust but waiting till spring to hook it up.
I stand no chance against American muscle cars. I can beat ur typical Honduhhhhhh and other assorted ricemobiles like mine. I just hook my car up for the look because Galant is a nice looking car, not a racing car. Civic's aren't racing cars either, they are made for convience on gas and for grandmothers.

Believe it or not, I actually did have a Vega that would run. Of course it never left the track....not a chance of putting it on the street. (740hp Chevy small block, and 425 hp NOS custom prototype kit).

When I was in HS, my friends in the mechanics professional program were modding a chevy Vega... as "class project"
It was hellish! They dropped in a souped up 350 from a scrapped Nova SS (can I hear a hell-yeah from the congregation!?), supercharged it, put slicks on it, headers and double straight pipe exaust, and a set of very necessary wheelie-bars on the back.
I saw it street race a Road Runner with a 426 hemi and the Vega kept up with it no problem (didn't quite cream it though...)
Now thats a street racer!!!

Damn ricers.... i hate them with a passion, growing up in hs i used to go street racing twice a week in houston. The races where semi organized and no one really raced except in certain spots with no traffic around. Now with the onset of the ricers who race through any type of traffic weaving in and out and pulling stupid shit. Watch fast and furious 2 for christ sake, they show people ramming cars and cutting each other off and call it "street racing". Well now all these fucks got an anti street racing law in texas passed for all the stupid shit they did that = automatic arrest, car impoundment liscesne suspension for a year, fines etc. That is the MINIMUM. Again i hate ricers.

I'm a Ford man at heart for sure, although I did just trade my 03 Lightning off for a 03 Yukon last month due to me needing more size. We do alot of Mustangs and Camaros, a few motor swaps on the ricers and the normal bolt on stuff. We are getting ready to pick up some new tuning software to be able to reflash computers to fine to the fuel/timing ect this month I think...

seriously...gotta love the wooden spoilers...nothing says aerodynamic advantage like some home woodworking on the trunk of your beater...
looking back, i should have added that to my daewoo...would have seriously made a difference - as it was i went 0-60 in just under 4 days...i might have made it in 3 days w/ that bad boy!
