It's official.. I can squat again!
I am pumped. Tomorrow at physical therapy i get to squat! Hopefully my therapist will let me do a 20 rep set... I always used to take whatever weight i could do for 10 and do a maximum intensity set of 20.. rep out 10... stand with weight.. do 2 or 3 more... stand.. 1 or two.. stand.. till i get to 20. He'll probably make me use like 95 or something. I don't care, from here on out, it's gravy.

I then took 2 weeks off, switched doctors, went back to squatting and lifting harder, but more carefully than ever...kept playing ball...and i haven't had a prob since I'm still in disbelief that his advice was to focus on building my upper body and forget about legs...

It was a miniscal tear known as a buckethandle. You can have them for years and not know about it.. until something lifts up the part that was torn and jams it under your knee cap, keeping you from straightening the leg. I'm pretty sure i got it playing basketball when i was like 12.. but i was just walking up some stairs and then bam, gave out on me.
