hijacking my browser?

i ran adaware cause i kept getting GAIN ad network **** popping up now when i open IE (internet explorer) this book website is trying to take me away from MSN home

what is your home page set to ??

check Tools > Internet Options ...... sometimes it'll get messed up and then everytime you open your browser, a few ads will come up along with it b/c it's set to some other home page. I always use a Blank page for mine.

download spybot from www.download.com and try running that. should get rid of a lot of the stuff Ad Aware doesn't find.

spybot didnt work i ran it but this new thing um Spy Sweep took it out irealized it was on a different drive where it was coming from I had partitioned my hard drive when i built my computer and I was getting it from there. SPy Sweeper is great fixed it in about 3 minutes.

I run three spywares, Xcleaner, spybot and adware. All pick up spyware that other's miss i find.
