I've seen him on the World's Strongest Man competitions. He was very inpressive. He dominated those other guys. Usually those guys are really big and not very cut, but he has a great build for a strongman.

Yeah he looks awesome and hes strong as hell.. and hes polish like me
-

yeah but i did think someone like hugo girard would slightly challenge him especially all the hype i heard about him but no one came close

Mariusz has won the WSM 2 years in a row, no strongman has ever done that, he is the best ever and has played with the rest of the strongmen the whole 2003 season. Hugo dont stand a chance against him.

yeah but there was a few promising looking strong men appearing but i think he is going to dominate for a long while

This guy's stats are just insane. He's 6'1 and 288 lbs, 22 inch arms... and his strength stats are insane. His first strongman contest was at 16 where at bench he maxed out at over 350 lbs! I wonder what kind of gear he runs.

Competition level body
look at some of his pics in the 'other side of mariusz' section, the guy has a competition level body. if he competed looking like that I bet he'd place really **** well. and yet he's stronger than ronnie. ****

This guy is an animal and like it was mentioned...compared to most WSM competitors he's got a BB physique.
His website is annoying though by only using that one little window and wasting the rest of the page. Stylish but annoying.

I've been watching him on the wsm marathon all day, gyms closed nothing else to do.

He would need to put on some more muscle if his entering a BB stage.

Just to help a few of you out, Magnus Ver Magnusson won WSM 3 years in a row in the early 90's.
There is drug-testing at the event
Unfortunately in this months Muscle and Fitness his picture was there advertising Met-Rx weeks (as this years WSM winner) before the event was televised! Bit of an anti-climax

thats right - Magnus Ver Magnusson AKA Viking Power used to dominate it pretty well - but anyway pudz kicks butt and looks like he is going to quite awhile - he still has room on that frame to add some more musle too!
-
01-02-2004, 02:05 PM #22
yeah he was always my favorite.Svend Karlson has taken over the mantle of viking power although not as powerful as magnus he is still the character on the strong man circuit beats the fat bastards the uk has to offer haha

yeah - Phil has won 4th place I think but never the prize - he is also a big fella in frame but he hasnt really been training all that long - if he had the right people packing on the right lifts for him and supplementing properly I think he could do a lot better - beat pudz? I dont know

i dont think that he can be beat for a while but i was impressed by the ukrainian cant remember his name but very focused and very aggresive looks good

Yeah I remember him...sad story.
I really like that Zydrunas Savickas (sp?) He is a machine man...he will give pudz a run for his money for a while I think.

I met Mariusz at the GNC show of strength in Atlanta a couple of months back. He was the most impressive man i saw there by far(with his massive strength along with the size). He was around 295 when i met him. Simply IMPRESSIVE.

i have a better squat than Mariusz, but that does not mean that i could beat him in the WSM.
Its not like Mariusz could walk on to the Olympia stage and take Ronnies title. Even with training.

Eddy Ellwood competed this past year. He got injured though in one of the competitions. He is like 6 time Mr. Olympia or something. Still looks great even at 40 years old.
