It wasn't that Lewis sucked, Tennessee played really good defense. OK, maybe he did suck just a little. He does play for the Ravens.

I'm aware of his stats for the season, but if you can't play a big game when it matters the most, all the yards in the world prior to that game aren't worth a **** thing.

He was playing against the best run def in the league with ZERO passing game to stop them from stacking the line. They might as well have yelled out "WE'RE HANDING THE BALL OFF TO JAMAL" before every play. What's more suprising is that he got so many yards during the year with opponents all stacking the box against him.

He's not the only running back that has run for 2000+ yrds in a year and sucked in the playoffs(even though 35 yrds is the lowest)........eric dickerson and 2 others have also done this and their teams lost to.......the only one to have a good game was tarrel davis with denver(something like 199 yrds and his team won).......I saw this on ESPN.

If you watched the game, the titans were stacking the box with 8-9 guys every single play, and when you have that many guys in there on a very good playoff defense, Jamal didn't have a chance.

Wright/Baltimore Receivers are more to blame.

I watched the game. On most plays there were 6 guys in the box tops. The free safeties just did a very good job of stopping the run. Plus, people have been loading up the line all year against lewis, and it was never a problem until the biggest game of the season.

    Talking

jamal lewis is a stud. carried the whole team all season long with opponents going in stacking the box.put that much on any rb in the league with no passing game, and theres your 20+ attempts with 30 yards. by the way, if your $$ is on green bay ,you are wrong..haha. theyre gonna whoop some azz!! no eagle fans out there..is there?
