It was a pretty intersting video of him waling his baby passed a huge crocodile also feeding the croc with his baby in his arms. Just a totally unneeded risk to the child. I don't care how great he is you just don't put a defenseless child in that position that if you slip its getting eaten for lunch. Accidents happen so risk yourself, not your baby. The baby was so young it probably could not even crawl.

I saw the vidio on the news..........what a moron.......they(the news people) said it should be the same as neglect........it was just stupid on his part.......it's one thing to put his life in danger but not a new born child......and the acting like it was running across the grass to the edge of the water pretty close to the big crock shows just how stupid the dumbass really is.

the kid was 4 weeks old. a one month old can't even hold its head up on its own. he has already made some stupid comments supporting his actions.

Yeah, the poor babies head wasnt even being supported. That jackass was holding the infant with one hand at shoulder level! I hope he recognizes what a stupid stunt that was and apologize publicly.

I saw it on the news. I thought it was a joke making fun of Michael Jakcson and baby Dangles at first. Then I saw it was for real and almost ****. Irwin's wife was quoted in the paper as saying the baby "dug it."

Splat off a porch or Snap in the jaws of a crawling pair of shoes with teeth
Both were stupid acts… good publicity in spite of the fact….

you gotta understand that his kid is undoubtably going to be slithering in snakes and crocs by the time he is 5 yo with a mom and dad like he has - I can see Irwin getting him used to being around them and all and truth to tell that is one crazy SOB - but he really does know what he is doing and while he makes it look easy, almost effortless, he is fast as a snake himself and thats all he does for years - notice his mom didnt think there was a problem with it either - I certainly would never do that with MY child - but I would think that Croc man would know better than anyone if his child was really in danger and know how to deal with it if a problem occurred - I mean, if MJ had been the worlds greatest juggler of bowling balls on balconies, there might have been a little less to be concerned about -brings new meaning to taking your kid to work tho

here ya go...
I'm not voicing what i think...
But if it is Steve, or Micheal jackson, or you or me... the child is still the property/responsability (i know.. don't flame me for the use of the word property).. If they or you or me want to teach our child that the sky is green, and all things in that color spectrum is green that is our right.. If the child is endangered, as a society it is our responsability to make people stop that kind of action..
Guess what.. there are worse things than being dead..
Steve made a decision to have his child in his arms while he feed a croc...
Alot of people would say that is excessive risk..
I allow/taught my son to ride a motorcyle and do 5 foot jumps when he was 4 years old...
The point is as a parent.. I don't want others telling me what i can and cant' do and say to my own child..
get my point..

Ah you bloody yanks...one sniff of a croc or a snake or something and your'e all waaaahhhhhhhh lookout!!!!
Croc's are 10 times more scared of him than the other way around, coz' they KNOW what a crazy f u c k e r he really is!!!
I saw Steve back about 8 years ago before he got really big at his croc farm and no ****, he cried after 2 crocs had a fight during feeding time because one lost a few front teeth....the man looooves his work - like REALLY loves it!!!

i saw the thing about Stevie Erwin on Fox last night. I really dont see what the big deal is about. Its not like he held the baby over the crocks mouth. All he did was put him down for a few seconds in the grass like 10 feet away from the crock.
The press as usual is hyping it up bigtime.

Hey guys.. I just saw the video... and the whole thing is a bunch of BS..
Never was the child in danger, he wasnt even close to the croc, If any of you have ever seen steve feed his crocs, you'll notice that he is usually even closer when he does.
He was having a good time and getting his kid used to it.... NO BIGGY!

I live in Australia, i've shot croc's before.
It ain't a big deal,
it was a croc that he's known for ages, it's like feeding your dog.
I wouldn't do the same with a few breeds of dogs out there.
Croc's aren't really that scary, it's just like snakes. Just cause some snakes can kill u, everyone freaks out.
i don't see the problem. (Cept for the fact that's no way to hold a 4 wek old baby)
