    cd to mp3

    Im not the best with computers anymore, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any good freeware that I can use to convert all my audio cd's to mp3s on my hard disk?

    go to www.download.com and try to download a cd ripper or all around encoder. You can get iTunes for free from www.apple.com/itues and it will rip cd's to AAC or MP3. RR

    you can even use windows media player to do it, if you have the latest version

    True, but most MP3 players do not recognize Windows Media Format. That's what it encodes it to. I don't really like Windows Media Format. RR

    if you have ahead nero burning software, that works just as well. never have liked roxio so i wouldn't know.

    iTunes is the easiest to use. Eventually you may get an iPod so even better to start with iTunes.

    Im from Alpine, it a small town close to El Cajon and La Mesa. Ya Know of it?
