Does everyone feel their pulse while trying to goto sleep?

My blood pressure is normal, and I am in fairly good health (knock on wood). But every night when I lay down and try to goto sleep, I have to get in just the right position so that I can't hear my pulse! I feel/hear it everywhere: Ears/fingers**penis**/side..EVERYWHERE

    any ideas?

**** right its anoying! I dont just hear it, I can feel it also! It keeps me awake for ever, then I finally pass out, it really sucks! I am thinking of trying that melatonin or whatever its called, but I hear its bad for ya.

Oh, I dont know about putting my ear next to my penis and hearing it, but I am SURE that if you put your mouth around it YOU could feel it.......

Is it bad enough to keep you awake for a while? or just subtle?

thanks for the input, do you take any sleeping aids to help reduce the anoyance (sp)?

I think I might have ADD if you believe in that crap, but I'll manage =)

just wondering if the sleep aids will help this?
