I just watched the State of the Union address. President Bush spent some time bashing the use of steroids and calling on all in sports to ban them. I guess he hasn't bothered to look at the facts, just like the Congress with ephedrine. I guess the law his Dad passed in 1990 making them controlled substances isn't going to change anytime soon. Ni modo.

Yeah i saw his diss on steroids.... calling on coaches, players, etc etc to set an example and quit doing them
Example my ass... when its their paycheck going up millions based on how many touch downs or home runs they get.... they will continue to use them.
He's just trying to look like a good guy going into election year, thats it.

If only people could use drugs "responsilby" then we wouldn't have all these problems, but theres always a few numbnuts that don't do there research and OD on certain drugs, thats why drugs get their bad rep, from idiots who abuse them. B/c of idiots we have illegal drugs.

This should not turn into a political debate about Rep. vs. Dem., but I like Bush personally. The fact is, it doesn't matter who was standing up there. The speach was written by someone other than the president himself, by a team of writers, and was designed to appeal to the masses. We are a minority. There is no greater a chance that steroids will become legalized than weed will become legalized. This is something that you must realize. They will never be legal in this country again, at least not in our lives. It's sad, but it's done, and not going anywhere. Don't knock President Bush because they are illegal. It was your representatives in Congress who made the law. Those are the ones who should be taking the verbal abuse.

In my opinoin, the people who do drugs are going to do them regardless wether they are illegal or not. Make them legal why don't ya, it will illimate all the gangs. Personally, I'm not a rep or dem, I'm a "who's going to **** me the least guy", and personally I think Bush is an idiot! and I support my troops because I was a troop, but in reality, we've lost too many lives for his fathers battle (that I was part of back in 91). Why is it that so many Bush supporters always mention 9/11 when anyone questions him? What I wanna know is what we would talk about if it weren't for 9/11? How about the defecit? Ok, most probably know I have NO love for Bush. I know his father, mother, him, and his two daughters and I dont really care for them, although his father at least was an intelligent man....another story...
Despite my ill feelings for Bush I will get his back now. In my opinion, it is wrong for us all to take shots at this man for his stance on steroids. Everybody here will still get their juice so i dont see what the problem is. We all KNOW that arnold, in all his glory, would NEVER legalize steroids. Its impossible. I think we should all get ovet this fact and move on. If were going to take shots at bush then make it over something worthwhile, like Homeland security or the patriot act. leave steroids out of this. he doesnt care about them, its just something he said in a speech to appeal to some voters. he's not the first president to do this. he wont be the last.
