New AR set up

I must say, PTbyJason, this new AR set up is pretty different. Not in how things work, but appearance is really throwing me off. Is this permanent? Just wondering.

Anyone like it?

I dont think it's bad.....i always hate change but like everything else it just takes getting used to until you feel comfortable with it

i like it, but the one thing i hate, is that the "boxes" of the posts aren't uniform, i don't know what the actual term is, but some people's posts like gilster and ambulance1984 take up the entire width of the screen, while everyone else takes about 60%, i would like everyone's to be the same

Im pretty sure we are going through upgrades and this is the skin that is default. There are ways to change it back to the "old" version, but it will take some time. FWIW I dont like it....

It's a fresh new look ..I like it........actually I forgot about PTbyjason's thread yesterday,and logged on this morning and it was culture shock...had to double check I was on the right site for a sec.........anyway props jason,nice work

On another note,can we loose all the Mr.Potato head icons and get some fresh ones????

The new look is ok, change is good and it makes the board look new.....I must agree with DB about the potato heads, I don't really use them, how about so different ones?

I like it, but i wish the boxes went across the whole screen instead of leaving a big margin on each side.

I was a little uncomfortable with it at first, but I do like the drop down menu on people's names and the pm setup...but like death said, i do wish it didn't leave the large margin on either side...beyond that, it's all good.

overall, it gets my approval

I dunno....I like the old way better personally. I like all the new stuff, but not the appearance personally...I didn't wanna say taht, Jason's put so much work into this board.

Seems fast to me. Check this out: http://anabolicreview.com/vbulletin/...do=editoptions then turn on the Enhanced WYSIWYG Editor (bottom box) - default is standard. Then go reply to a thread - it will show you how everything is as you type (bold, italics, different fonts, images)... no need to preview a reply...

I totally agree. Personally I don't like the big blue margins on the side of the screen.

Also, I think it was better with the picture on the left side and the post right beside it. Putting the picture on top of the post makes it confusing, and makes it take up too much room. I don't know if this is permanent or if you are still taking suggestions and testing it out.

wow it's cool with seeeing the bold and underline and stuff as you type. I have troulbe, LOTS of trouble with AR. I type nearly 5 sentences and I can't see what I wrote. It's only on AR. Other websites are fine. I'm going to have to type in Word and copy paste. Annoying.

I'm still having a serious delay in my typing, with or without the enhanced viewer activated. Only AR. Very peculiar. I just wrote a pm and it was fine, but I'm typing mad slow waiting for my writing to appear and I can see what I wrote.

Is this because of changes? What's up with my comp?

That is the one thing I dont care for. The avatar box taking up so much space. Almost a post of its own. Confusing. Everything else is coolio yo.

To everyone complaining, stop for a little bit. I was up here until 3 in the morning that night installing it. I am making adjustments to it today that are going to take care of your complaints. Just hang tight.
