Anyone know a type of pushup that really hits the chest well??? I do regular ones, but i dont feel them in my chest....Anyone know of a site that shows different kinds of pushups and what they work?

Paralell dips....Nope, not really. I do some occasionally, it puts alot of stress on my shoulder though (have had 2 dislocations with it). I hear those work well, and i have machines for dips at home . What would you recommend doing for sets? I dont get it....i've tried different grips for bench, flat bench i rarely feel anything, decline i feel some, incline i feel the most in m y chest. Pushups i feel in my triceps, tried closer grip...no luck. I'll try incline though. thanks bro

Squueze and pause at the top, and do hundreds of them.

I also like to put my feet up on a chair and use 2 cinder blocks placed wide to put my hands on so I can go a little deeper.
Do 'em nice and slow, but squeeze every last bit out of them... (yeah I do lots of "hotel room" workouts when on the road )

Try doing pushups over a lit candle, come as close as you can without completely burning your chest hair off.. If you are unsuccessful with the candle, try a board full of nails, again come down until you almost impale your body with the spikes.. If all else fails, buy a 'right/left' handed pushup mat, depending on what hand you write with.. This serves no purpose, It is just a mat that has the words 'pushup mat' printed on it..
wtf you doing pushups for in the first place hoss? When you said you were ''finding you're reason to workout'' is this what it meant?

i don't bother with them unless they're plyometric... the ones bigol described.
Hoss, as far as your shoulder goes, if it's still bothering you that much, you should get it checked out. Ask for an MRI. I've had over 4 dislocations in my left shoulder due to lax ligaments, but after a month or so i'm good to go again. what's the point in being forced to do wimpy exercises, especially if you want to be bigger than coleman eventually? You've got to start bringing that bench up.. and before you do that you've got to fix your shoulder.
